Exactly. I am sure I could come up with at least 25 cars that look better than a Zed but none would be any where near the price.
quite right martin. when i told me mate car's 18 yrs old they were amazed. drive like a 2-4 yrs old champ. my motor so smooth..not even a slightest bit of oil leaking... and we have the best ward"s ten engine ever made on this planet considering there are thousands of car makers out there. well about the best version i think it is all personal opinion..but I am proud to own this slicktop 2 seater NA...especially the shorter Jspec..simply the best...money can buy..
True, and as such I was agreeing with your point, I don't think it would be in my top 25 either. That being said, it is a damn nice looking car, definately good enough that I am not terribly surprised that someone has put it in their top 25.
best ward"s ten engine ever made should be to VQ Series not our VG series. apologise...but the basis of VQ is of course from the VG platform.
The Lambo Muira and Mercedes "Gull-wing" are rightfully up there, as is the Jaguar "D-type"(and the Series I E-type Convertible) and the Ferrari Dino 246, but that's all the concessions I'm going to make.:zlove::zlove: What is "best ward"s ten engine ever made", and what is this reference to "slicktop 2 seater NA...especially the shorter Jspec"? All Z32 2-seaters are short wheel base, no matter where they are intended to be sold???
Makes me feel good! The fact I've been in 6 of those cars 52 Bently Type R 65 Buick Riviera 63 Stingray 79 Jaguar XJ6 56 300SL Gullwing 90 300ZX and owned 2......with the Zed still being in my possession. Then today, someone had the audacity to suggest that owning a Zed at my age was a bit too much "boy racer" and I should sell it and get a "good family car"!!!:bash: :bash:

BEAUTIFUL....NO...MAGNIFICENT! That's one great collection of pics you have there, I'd love to have a copy of them(hint, hint).:zlove::zlove:
Well the first one has been answered subsequently after my original post in relation to it. I was wrong. It was the VQ series engine that won the awards for 13 consecutive years now. The second issues of length I remember found it somewhere on ebay when a guy listed his 2 seater oz for sale he wrote something to the words like: it is not the same as J version whereby the body is longer and the fuel cap is behind the rear wheel .the jap version fuel cap is before the rear wheel.. i have yet to find that listing again and email the guy for reference and importantly at the same time finding hard data about it. then again I probably misread, and could be wrong....
Sorry mate, but ALL 2 seaters have the petrol flap between the door and the wheel arch(and are shorter). 2+2 Models ALL have the petrol flap behind the wheel arch(and are longer bodied). The only exception to this is the convertible. There are NO other variants worldwide. This is pretty basic knowledge(or at least I thought it was).:zlove::zlove:
and there's no such thing as an australian 2 seater. All oz delivered zeds were 2+2 non turbo, all others are imports. you beat me to it chili i tried to post something similar earlier but my net died
I concede defeat...and am not waiting far too long like in the case of Bennelong..you are right Chili..this ebay guy really confused me when he put: this is a Non Turbo Aussie Spec Vehicle and getting rare to find good investment, you are welcome to inspect the car before bidding The Aussie Spec is that little bit longer in length and has a much sleeker look the fuel filler is behind the rear wheel on these models the shorter imports have the fuel filler in front of the rear wheel, just realised his is a 2+2 . what version he was trying to compare I dont know.. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI...Track=true&ssPageName=VIP:watchlink:middle:au
it could have been a 2+2 with the rear seats removed and then re-engineered as a 2 seater. but the body shape is still 2+2
Just when we are achieving clarity on this issue, you have to spill the beans on an experimental midget Z32 made entirely from tofu. Shame on you!:bash::zlove: Have another drink, you know you want to.:zlove::zlove:
Dont let this one fool u guys. Check out the rims... its a friggin cop car. Damn pursuit rims are always a giveaway
