215/60 15" tires

    hello
    does anyone know where abouts i would be able to find a set of these tires? i found a pair of potenzas at bobjane and im looking at the price tommorow. in the mean time, does anyone know the price? it would save me a trip there after school.

    It doesn't sound like an unusual size, and as for price, try using the yellow pages and a phone. You should always get a few quotes, and don't be scared to bargain.

    yeah. for a 1986 model. my sources tell me that the tires are 215/60 VR 15. they are probly differnt sizes for a z32.did u catch that trout in the pic u got? thats huge as.

    Just go into the tyre shop and ask them what

    they got. Even haggle them to get the price down. This is what i did when i owned my z31 but i bought 16" rims and bridgestone tyres.

    oh ok, my mistake....

    I thought you meant a Z32..:) As for the trout pic, no thats not me..:) To fully understand the significance of that pic you have to be in the Chat room on thursday night..:)Cheers

    Tyre size

    Hey guys, be careful with the tyres for your 86 ZX. I recently went to a tyre shop for my first set of replacement tyres since buying the car, and the wankers gave me tyres that should be on a falcon etc. Result, zero wet handling and tyres slashed by the body work. Far too high a profile. Get the right low profile tyres, and don't trust the tyre salesman to choose them. You'll end up replacing them within a few weeks as I did!
