What if you buy a heap and glue them all together, how much hp does that give you? Snake oil mate. Buy a chip from a reputable source.
A waste of coin and may do damage as some have been found to lean your motor out $$$.As said get one from a known z guru.
they claim that it doesnt lean to fuel but advances the engines ignition timing by 2 degrees but i dunno its a bit of a gamble 20hp for $18 or sourcing a $2000 engine
i wouldnt do it. i got one similar off ebay for my zed years go. put it in and nothing was different. it was a little black box with loom coming out of it that went into the AMF. i ended up smashing the little black box open to find it was just an empty black box. wasnt even a chip in it lol it was $20 from a UK seller
Forgot to say i have 2 different ones in the shed i got with a s/h manual e.c.u recently bought. Well after talking to bryan ( o'connor television ) i decided maybe a risky thing to do.Bryan made me a chip and the car now excelerates something wicked.On checking the codes on the aftermarket chips they both appear to lean out in the higher rev range.May have cost me a bit more than a ebay chip but saved a engine in the long run.Yer as said before go with someone you can talk to and does it for your car.Other things can be changed on the chip like thermo fan cut in temp , speed limiter e.ct.
