Does anyone know if the seats in a 2 seater jspec are compatible with an auspec 4 seater? Are the rails the same? Do the seats still have the full layback capability. Thanks

they're the same, assuming you replace manual with manual and electric with electric.

don't think it matters if it's manual or electric. if you put in a manual seat just bolt her up and you don't need to plug anything in.

they are the same, if you want an electric seat you just need the wiring from the seat to the loom also.

I been trying to get a manual seat for mine, as I tend to always be pulling things out of my car, and putting the back in, and having hurt my back(bulging disc's and sciatica) the heavy electric seat is an annoyance to me =p

One rail is slightly different. would need to be modified to bolt up properly
Would have to switch the electric controls to the other side of the seat.
I have noticed there is a slot for loom in the carpet, but no wires that I noticed, As I have not pulled up my carpet completely. So may need both sides of the plug, then either wire into any loom which may be available there, the other seat, or just get power strait from the battery.
