The Gold Coast weather held up it's end of the deal today. Absolute picture perfect kind of weather. Couldn't have asked for better. Was a great turnout with I think it was a total of 9 Zeds, 1 Motorbike and 1 Porsche . Great seeing some new faces turn up as well and weren't shy in getting in to have a conversation. - To those newbies... WELCOME! It was definitely a fantastic day on the roads if only the morons would stay OFF them. Our drive up to Purlingbrook falls would have been ab-fab if only the twit in the red car had moved out of our way. - Single lane with the best twisties in town and this POS decides to travel a nice slow speed of 40km MAX. - WANKER!!!! The zeds were absolutely having a blast and the only Issue for the day was "Nasty Girl's Car and the injector connector - dodgy wiring. - Easy temp fix was that of a bobby pin. Good job guys! - Aza has pics Properly fixed by Ztoy on our journey home. - Cheers Al The lunch at Eagle Thai was pretty damn good as usual also. - Shame bout that annoying driveway for some people though. The 10 minute walk back to my car didn't seem so bad. - Surprisingly it still started when I realised i'd left my fog lights on - DOH! Had an awesome run in the auto zed today until the brakes once again started squeaking - great roads with some great people in the great cars. Now all I need to do is look into replacing my turbo's as I believe I may have killed drivers side on the way home with a bit of WOT no seriously - Thanks again to all that attended and hope to see you all sideways again next time. For a cruiZe which so many could NOT attend it was a good turnout and just the right number for a leisurely and controlled run No one got lost I got so frustrated with that idiot Mazda, I was about to stop dead in front of him, in the middle of the road to allow everyone to pass on the shoulder. Fortunately a broken line permitted safe overtaking by nearly all of you. Good to see a lot of new Members and the usual cruiZers too. :zlove: NB: Eagle Thai is on the move next month, down gallery walk toward Oxenford, just beyond the roundabout with the big tree in it. There's a small brewery in behind and should be very nice. Thanks for coming guys and girls.
Yes... perfect day today for a great drive, the cool air this morning gave old GG a good HP boost, felt really good. Thoroughly enjoyed the drive, felt like the good old days... with Fatey-boy driving spot on the speed limit as usual and every now and then he was kind enough to show me side shots of his car in my rear view mirror. DO NOT like the car park speed hump at the Eagle Thai. My zed is at stock ride height, the bump is not marked white... Didn't see it. Now I have a weird cat-is-cactus rattle coming from he passenger side of the car. New Magnaflow system, metal cats, magnaflow centre muffler... NOT HAPPY. :bash: Who owns the property? Yes, when we were cruising along at well under the speed limit, he went SCREAMING past us all at, dare I say it, 'smack' on the speed limit for that road we were driving on...
Hi everyone This was our first cruiZe with my Zed. Was a bit nervous, thought it was going to be a leisurely drive but I was wrong Was an awesome day out we defiantly enjoyed ourselves. Thanks all for a great cruise..... was good to see some new faces!! More zeds than expected but made for a good number through the twisties..... now just need to get rid of those Sunday drivers. The cruise started out on a poor note for me with my car developing a miss on the way down. Some road side daignostic by Mike and Rob found my injector connector wiring no longer connector to the pins ....... the famous bobby pin came to the rescue and all was good again for the rest of the cruise. Thanks heaps to Mike and Rob for the temporary fix and to Ztoy who came to the rescue on the way home.... I owe you guys.... yet again :zlove: Lunch was great and a cruisy drive home. I will upload pics once my exam is over - given technically i should have been at home studyin today Looking forward to the next one. Oh and Fate - you aint got a chance

I was bringing up the rear all day! Didn't have the confidence to play up the front but the next day I went a lot harder with the bike group The next cruise should see me in the Z though.
The day looks and sounds like it was a heap of fun guys. If no one has any objections to a Skyline showing up, I'd like to tag along on the next one if possible
