:( It is with great sorrow for me to announce this to those of you that are unaware.
Last Tuesday 17/07/2012 - Janis Garoza, better known to his friends as - "John the Gargoyle" passed away after his battle with cancer.

No doubts, It's an Annual Cruize on the cards.

Sorry for the short notice Zedders but the event will be held next Friday 27/07/2012 for the funeral. I urge EVERYONE to attend to pay Respect, Rememberance & Represent the great enthusiast and man that we all knew as - The Gargoyle

We will all meet at Simplicity Funerals "442 Scarborough Beach Road Osborne Park WA 6017" and go through the precruize details.
The idea is to arrive at roughly 12:30pm for maps an a mingle.
Leaving Simplicity Funerals at 1:30pm following the hurst to the funeral location.
I will announce further details as soon as I know however, I would say allow at least 2/3 hours from when we start to drive.

A couple of things to mention:
I'd like to incorporate a fundraiser into the Cruize, Michelle I'm looking at you.
As far as I know, Funeral attire is to be worn but I'll keep you all posted.
To clarify a little better, after the funeral the cruize will go on (thats when the rubber melts)

I am organising this event on behalf of Garg's 2 sons - John & Rob who are to become members to this wonderful club of ours.
Please welcome them with open arms as I know you will.

John always said that I was an expert with these cars (very debatable imo), but the fact of the matter is that John was an expert at meeting people and making friends.

RIP "John", you will be sorely missed.

I have next Friday off anyway as I was driving down to Denmark, but I will be at the funeral and hopefully the cruise. Denmark may have to wait.

Absolutely, I am in the process of organising some great photos from the past, I will also include photos from this coming cruize and make them readily available for all forum members.

In the mean time, there is always "The Two Idiots" threads to look back on. Although I was Idoit 1, Idiot 2 composed ALL of the threads and the essence of his humour can be sighted here.

A sad day indeed. Although I knew john only a few years, he was a solid friend and a true "zedder" in every sence of the word.

I will pay my respects with everyone else on Friday.

I so miss those "Two Idiot" threads. They were great value and entertainment. :zlove:
Everytime there was a new "Two Idiots" thread, it was like "Oh god, what have they got up to now?"
    Classic stuff.

    I'm still shellshocked .....:(

He was an absolute ray of sunshine, a gentleman, a funny bastard, and as we all know had a certain thing about him that was unique, a certain wonderful zest for life and people, a truly bench mark human being. He will be missed.

Send him off in style WA.
