I have fitted "another" supposedly working digital clock but with the same problem. The clock displays time "only on occassions" but otherwise stays blank as if getting no power. Have tested and is getting power to the unit, so I can only guess it's the liquid display needs servicing. HAS ANYONE HAVE AN IDEA ON THIS, OR EXPERIENCED THE SAME, OR AM I THE ONLY UNLUCKY ONE, WOULDN'T THINK SO ........... :bash:!

Mine does exactly the same so I look forward to hearing any response that may be forthcoming (not that I really want to know the time when I am in the zed :)

Mine does the same thing, displays time on occasions, then goes black, etc etc..Personally I wouldn't bother "reviving" these old clocks, i'd just buy a new one from Coz, etc..

I priced a new one from Nissan Australia and it was $440.00. Needless to say I did not buy it. I found a guy on the UK site who refurbs the clocks and I bought two from him and have had no problems.

Yeah, i've learned to always be seated when calling Nissan Australia regarding part prices.

I also called them about the clock (Dandenong Nissan in Melbourne) and they told me something like $500.00. Needless to say, i refused their generous offer.

If the Aussie dollar was stronger, buying from Coz could be a decent option.
