Hey guys, Charcoal grey Zed for sale.

    Perfect duco/paint.

    200,000km's on the clock.

Dream car for an L plater, barely been driven since we bought it a few yrs ago. I could count the number of times on one two hands.

It was bought from interstate (TAS) still has the same TAS plates so it was never re-registered for VIC, that's why it hasn't been used.

It's pretty much stock standard apart from the sports exhaust (sounds better than a ferarri).

It's got a nismo sports steering wheel.

No reg, but we can negotiate that in to the price.

Ill tell you the things I don't like about it...

    clocks dead

Handbreaks satisfactory (dont know about u, but i wanna do a burnout kids, its part of becoming a man).

Alternator needs to be replaced in the medium to long term. (the battery has never died though - u can have it tested)

it has an extremely minor cosmetic mark between the door and the roof where the plastic is about and inch cubed if that.

Stereo sux for my standards but ive got a top of the range 1 din Alpine head unit thats never been installed or taken out of the box if you want it (hehe id prefer it if u didnt).

    hmmm what else.

    perfect interior.

    zero mechanical problems.

Things i like about the car

    the SOUND!

perfect interior and exterior (apart from the 1inch piece of plastic).

    Great motor
    RWC

    last words

Everythings negotiable, you're free to have any test done on it that you'd like.

I have photos too, just didnt know how to post them.

Telling people "dont know about u, but i wanna do a burnout kids, its part of becoming a man" isn't a great way to sell your car...

    This.

Besides, how exactly do you do a burnout in a rear wheel drive car using the handbrake anyway??

What model is the Nismo steering wheel? Does it still have the ADR sticker/certificate?
Also do you have log books or service records with the car?

    -side note
Id say its an automatic, and in 'Being a Bogan 101' you learn how to do burnouts by cranking up the revs in drive gear with the handbrake on, and then letting off the handbrake to achieve some pissant attempt at tyre spin.

Having said that, id say the gearbox and handbrake are (if not already) on their way out.

200,000kms and hasnt had much of a drive for the last couple of years, id be pretty hesitant to even sit in the passengers seat, let alone blow 9g on this thing.

Dude, your going to have to show a LOT of evidence of actual work done to keep this car in good nick over the years.

List of mods? didn't you read the origional post?

I said stock standard apart from the sports exhaust which sounds better than a Ferrari!

Just looked up the prices of 1990 NA's in Redbook, and it's a maximum of 8,500AUD.

So the price is 8500 ono (or nearest offer)

    it's a 2+2 btw.

The cars immaculate, any tests by serious buyers welcome. PM or email me.

    :D

just for your information coldkast, the car you have is called a "aus-spec" and has some small differences compared to the japanese sold N/A's
manual air/con, different front indicators, rear bar with reflectors and lockable targa tops are the big ones.
    good luck with the sale

    Thanks a lot Jinxed.

So that's a plus too, AUS Spec.

About recording the sound, would anyone know or have any suggestions about how to record the sound of the car in stationary? I've tried recording it with a smart phone mic, and the recording wasn't impressive; especially in the high notes, but I've got two mp3 players, nt sure if they record though.

The person who asked for a sound byte, were you serious about wanting to hear it? Would anyone like to hear it?

alternator problems that don't exist? I said the alternator will need to be replaced in the medium plus term. thatsa quoted from a mechanic who tested how much charge the alternator was charging the battery.

I( LOVE my zed, it's not my choice to sell it. the reason it's been driven so little is because I was young when it was bought for me. There was no point in re registering it, in VIC they demand the driving instructor and tester could see your speedo, And you can't in a Zed from the passenger side as far as i could see.

Rego, that'll be one yr of rego if you negotiate. (not you in particular)

I love this car so much. Ill keep it if i have to - that's my preference, it definitely iswn't going to a car yard!

It's going to a special young man or lady or whoever who's always wanted one, and if you come and see it, your dream will come true. That's no joke.

Serious ill keep it. And the beautiful 1 din alpine dvd mp3 compatible headset too.

Everythings neghotiable though, for a special person, i wont let anyone else have it.

Perfect interior/exterior. No response to my offer of a sound file or extra photos, just beating the price down like my baby's a piece of meat.

its AWESOME, in most states P platers can't have a TT, its not fair, i aqree because l platers have the least crashes by statistics.

But Ill say it again, this car isnt a piece of meat and dont test me ill keep it. it isnt even in my name, its not my choice to sell it.

The kids who've come to this forum and older people know this car is a classic, not mine in particular, but the 300zx is a dream. The gorgeous curves - its perfection, front and backthey didnt change the appearance barely at all from the first z323 till the last.

I can remember when the first of the z32 TT's were publicised way back, They made the nightly news.

if i do sell this one then later im buying another one.

As far as te people reading this looking to buy one whether its mine or someone elses... Dont buy one, theyre not fuel efficient, thje TT's are expensive to insure, they run hot. But they're perfect in every other way :)

8.5k wont hurt you any where near as much as it hurts me, the 300zx ...well you'll never forget it/ And this one wont even break down on you!;)

Is it a dream? no? then its mine until i find a worthy owner, sorry. its not just a car to me

Bump. still available to a loving owner.!

    near perfect in and out.
    -Duco and engine great.
-interior perfect except for the clock

Pic links appear earlier in the thread. already had a few offers at 9k ono, but I've reduced my baby to 8.5k for visitors of this site.

Top alpine head unit available for the buyer included in the cost, brand new speakers too, the stereo is DVD MP3 compatible as far as i remember. It was the top of the line single DIN alpine a few yrs ago.

The only reason this car is going is because of the cost to run it and insure it. It'll be sorely missed when it goes.

G'day? I'm reducing the price of this much loved Zed by 2K to 7K - it's cosmetically perfect inside and out, sounds great - stereo.

Stock standard except for a sports exhaust.

It's an N/A so great for a learner or P-plater.

RWC before you see it so you can have a test drive.

    AUS SPEC

    2+2

Feel free to do any mechanical tests you like.

    200 kilometres.

    FAULTS AND COMMENTS

    The clock doesn't work.

There is a piece of plastic removed on the outside of the car about 1cm by 2cm which no one would even notice.

Gun metal grey. I prefer black ones but it's got a perfect duco.

    REASON FOR SELLING

Parents want to basically. It was my dream car.

I need a grand or so to develope a business aswell.

Well worth a look, nice example.
