hi have a problem when boosting pressure between 1 vac and 1 psi the car shutters but when the boost goes past 1 psi its OK thing i have tryed to fix it 1 dis connected the wires from the box under the rear left side of the seat and earthed the white wire 2 and replaced the throttle body censer box and i dint know if its in the right spot can any one help plz thanks
Welcome to the Forum mate. I might have this wrong but do you mean when the stock vac ~ boost guage needle is between the first marks on either side of the zero mark ? Not quite following you. Fuel pump control unit ? Look in the Tech section under TPS - throttle position sensor. There are instructions on adjusting it with a multimeter if you don't have access to any diagnostic software. Is the car a manual or an auto ? Good luck.
OK i fixed the tps Position its strange it runs OK for 2 to 3 mins and then when the car is at 0 boost not positive or negative boost 0 boost the car has a droning sound through the exhaust and the car find it had the accelerate then if i put my put fat to the floor and problems goes away the car is a manual on the 2+2 300zx there is a control box in the left side under the rear seat i was told to disconect it and earth out the white wire
