    Hi Guys,

Was going to fit these to my car but decided to stay with the stockers instead.

Not entirely sure if they'll fit, so if anyone can advise to the contrary I'll delete the post.

Wheels are Manaray Sports VR5 - gold face with silver / chrome rim. Wheels are all 18 x 9.5J with offsets of +45 ( which I believe is OK for ZX's???). In very good condition - minor scratches but no shaving or dents or other.

Tyres are 95-99% new - Yokohama Ecos 265/35/ZR18. I'd estimate the tyres alone to be worth around $450 each when new ( as these basically are).

Asking $2200 for these wheels which includes delivery anywhere in Aus.

Please PM if you would like photos sent to you.

    cheers,

    Jeremy

Sorry to say but these are the wrong offset for a Z32

These sizes & offsets are for a GTR. These will fit in the rear of a Zed & sit a fair way in but if you put them on the front the wheel probably wont turn at all, thats if you can get the nuts done up.

I have 18x8.5's on the front of mine with a 245 & they just fit with a 35mm offset

So it's a done deal then - no longer for sale

Ryan / James - thanx for the feedback, This is consensus enough that the wheels do not / will not fit a ZX. cheers guys

so is that why your really selling em? why on earth would you keep stockers

Cost of tyres might be a factor in keeping stockers

    umm yes

andrew - maybe it's just the polluted air from where I come from, but not sure of your point....

'I was going to fit them to my Z but not sure if they fit and decided to keep the stockers'

    seems entirely reasonable to me.

as to why anyone would keep stockers? well, I'd hazard a guess that 10% of forum members still have stockers, and some don't actually hate them.

as Scott mentioned, this is a far cheaper exercise to find some good 2nd hand 16" tyres as opposed to taking to these wheels with an icepick and a bic lighter to make em fit.

    cheers.

So am i correct in saying that all 4 rims are same - 9.5' size and offset..

    (sorry if i missed it)

Such a shame, cause i think the rears would fit. i would have thought that there would be something the tyre place could do to get them to fit..

if they could fit somehow, i'd prob buy them off you.

    making these things fit

    Hi Ben,

Yes, they're all 4 of them 9.5J with +45 offsets.

I believe ( from what I read in the tech section) that the offsets are all fine, and 265 on the rear is not a problem.

Even read one post where a guy had 9J and 10J rims fitted, but think these were 245 and 265 tyres.

Without being fully conversant in these matters, I guess you could roll the lip of the guard, but this is more involved than I can handle.

    cheers,

    Jeremy

    Re: making these things fit

all i was saying issss.. you bought them, they dont fit your car.. now your trying to sell them to people who have the same car.. go to SAU if theyre GTR rims

<edit: if your unsure if theyll fit or not.. whack em on your car and let us know.. its only 10 bolts (dont need to do both sides)>

Hey JZEZRZEZMZYZ, what are the chances of pics with these

rims on your Zed mate?? I'm very curious.
BTW, i've also sent you a PM.

Just like minivan suggested, maybe just one side.
But with particular attention to the front wheel fitment.

    Please keep me posted mate.

    Cheers,
    Ben.

The rear wheels will fit fine

but the fronts will need spacers.

  16. RedZedMikey

RedZedMikey RZM should now be DZM

    Spacers???????

Put spacers behind those wheels on the front and fitment will be worse. Pity you cant get negative spacers .

I'm assuming +45 offset and 9.5 inch wide for all 4 wheels

With 18" 245/40 rubber on the front it's going to rub on the upright arm, the one which connects to the upper control arm.

To clear the arm a spacer of about 15mm is required. Installing the spacer will reduce the offset to +30, thus bringing the wheel out towards the edge of the guard and away from the upright arm.

Hmm, even when pushed out with a spacer...

i feel the outside wall of the tyre would still scrub on the inner guard when turning. (btw, it's got 265's on front too)
    - maybe if you swapped the front 265's for a pair of 245's, may have better luck.

So, at the end of the day we need to find out if anyone here has successfully squeezed a 9.5" rim under the front without badly scrubbing.

    - as the incorrect offset isn't a major issue anymore because it can be corrected by a 15-20mm spacer.
