hi all, i'm in negotiations with the owner of a nice N/A 2+2 89 model zed located n gosford. the car has 170xxx kms on it but she has told me the car is mechanically faultless and is in great condition. i wont be showing her any money untill she re registers it and does a compression test, hopefully will be done tomorrow afternoon. i've searched and found the compression should be up around 160 for each cylinder...correct ?? also, for a zed with this many kilometers, obviously it would be a good idea for a major service, is a 200xxx kms service recomended yet ? i am unsure whether she has done the 100 xxx service also. cheers
yep def factor in the 200k service as it will have to be done soon. anything above 165ish would be very good for a motor of that many klm's. Best of luck with the purchase Regards Trev
