I had a tyre alignment and balance done only a few weeks ago and that cured the vibration in the wheel between 85/110kmph however anything slightly over 110 and the wheel starts vibrating like a jackhammer :( any ideas?

Checked your rims for dints ? even a small dint will screw with the balance at that speed

Get a re-balance. Sometimes takes a few goes to get the job done right. :(

What is the condition of tyres and rims? Any spacers?
