hey guys just after your opinions:

i purchased my z 2 yrs ago had driven 71k i did a major service on it straight away which changed:

    *timing belt
    *cam and crank seals
    *water pump
    *spark plugs
    *all oils
    *thermostat

my car currently has 97k, i have done regular minor servicing on it which is the usual, my question is will it be stupid to go ahead and waste money on a 100k service? the only things missing from the 100k kit are:

    *Auto tensioner
    *Idler pulley assy's(2)
    *VTC springs(2)
    *Crank sprocket spacers(2)
    *Crank sprocket

I think you'll find it may cost you much more in the long run if you leave your old tensioners in. I do recall some very expensive engine rebuilds due to tensioners not being changed at 100k services...

Well the timing covers anyway. You can actually manage to leave the belt in place if you are careful.

aren't the idlers and tensioner in the..,

ARen't the tensioners and idlers in the 200k service pack??? Can't remember, if you do go that way, don't forget to replace the studs, there are some posts on TT where they have snapped (perhaps related to belt being too tight) but better safe than sorry.

Crank sprocket, did you replace your front seal? The sprocket would have came off to perform this, so I wouldn't bother. It is listed as part of the service because you need to cut the old one in half to remove it(well, some times, if yours came off easily then you're lucky).

Also, 71k on a 13-14 year old car? Did you get a log book with your vehicle? I'd be more incline to believe it would be closer to 171,000k when you purchased it, which means you're getting close to 200,000k.
