Only to your nuckles. I took a couple of chunks out of my hands with my new overly sharp JUN cam gears. Bled though my gloves :(

I would think so as i cant see any other way to raze the compression  as jedi sed he must have some very high dino power  if thats the case

Zexual what was the condition of the sparkplugs when you removed them  it would be a good indication of what might be happening in the combustion chamber i mean high compression like that would start to melt the tip of the spark plug

Glad it's all up and running well.
No small job you took on there for a first up, congrats and well done.
Happy to be able to help, MZM always ready to assist.
Agree with Jedi there, the comp figures are to high, get another gauge and try again.

LOL what pintara do you drive dude ???

guys..210psi isn't very high for compression, i doubt you will notice much of a difference by going up 30odd psi, my car is meant to be running 10.6:1 and i pulled 250-260 on all 4 cylinders, but it should be a little higher due to head/block decked.

high compression isn't for hp anyway, it's more for torque and throttle response, although hp is proportional to torque anyway.

never worked on a vg30de in my life, i wouldn't say it's very hard, just very very tedious with some annoying f'n bolts in awkward places and what not, but having everything on the front of the car not on the side (fwd :p) is a bonus !

haha yeah, those f'n gears demolished my nuckles too, ask james :D

the car before i upgraded to my z which i still own: 1990 Nissan Pintara. Very reliable and much better on fuel. Slow as **** though and front wheel drive. Although it had a 180 km an hour top speed. Well, that's the fastest i ever got it. Never doing that again though  lol

    no flame war,

yeah without starting a flame war, i do think it is a unrealistic to match a 2.4 na against a TT. the only na ive seen that comes close to a TT is a e46 m3, and a boosted zed will still power past one.

but from other posts it does sound like your car is highly modified and im sure its quick, why dont you put a thread up in NZR or something , id be keen to see it

You want to drive for Nismo at Le Mons? What's Le Mons? Isn't that what the French call an intimate part of a womans body? *sleazy French accent "I slid my hand down ze belly, over le mons and into her hidden treasures". haha
