Hey all, took my car to mechanic to get checked and they said i ll need to do a 100 000km service and thats around $2400 So my question is what has to be done on a 100 000km service? So far the list of things, i was gonna do are timing belt, fix power steering leak, camshaft leak (timing belt), coolant bypass and clutch... Is it easier to remove the engine and do them or in the car? or get the whole engine reconditioned will be alot better?
Far out, if doing a 100K service is gonna cost that much I'll start doing them for other people With that amount of work I would pull the engine out, but I really hate pulling gearbox's without a hoist So much easier working on a engine on a stand than in the engine bay. You can get to all the little bastard hoses easy and no sore back!
