The latest High Performance Imports Mag (Issue 58) has an article about a Zed that ran a 10.84 sec quarter mile at Willowbank making it the quickest Zed in Australia. The guy that owns it is Colin Brodie. Does anyone now him? Is he a forum member? Sounds like a challenge for JP to go one better! Cheers
I picked up a mag the other day... can't remember the name of it. It had a white 300ZX that had 800RWHP running a NOS system. Different Zed?
Re: 10.84 sec 1/4 Mile for a ZED! Only problem is, 1/4 mile is the limit b4 it blows up! Dunno how many engines Colin's rebuilt but it's a few... would like to see a bit more reliability & consistant performance.
no better way to find the limits and weak point than just increasing boost and tune till something blows up.
Just for the record....10.84 and street registered, daily driver set-up,... still has radio, etc, but has had air-con removed. Gotta take your hat off to those numbers. CheerZ Vincent
Re: Just for the record....10.84 and street registered, daily driver set-up,... yeah i saw him blow it up one night i was out there too.
Hey at least he gets to blow it up himself and have some fun instead of some w@nker who doesnt know how to tune.
