Hey zedders... has any 1 got a link to this zed that i saw in a HPI mag DVD...

its bright yellow slick top 2 seater zed with a built NA VG30...

looked pretty stripped out and i could see a custom plennum with direct port NOS and 6 butterflys... had a lot of fibreglass stuff but i wanna read up a lil more... had full set of slicks and very stable take off..

    time it ran was 10.65 @ 135MPH...

damn not bad for an ATMO zed ;-)

Jedi looks like you and I got more work to do to our NA's!

Its from HPI V5 and i just so happen to have it on my computer *naughty* :p

It first appears at 17:25 and they do a small feature on it, if anyone has a program where i can put the video in it, cut out the bit i want and still have it as a MP3 i'll post it on here for all you zedders to see.

Bloody thing spins through 1st and 2nd :D :zlove:

there is more to it than that

forged pistons and stronger rods,no doubt lighter as well for less rotating mass, equalling higher rpm available....
stronger spark courtesy of msd ignition and upgraded plugs, upgraded fuel system 550cc injectors(also used on lots of tts!)
exhaust extractors and the big power adder.....NNNNOOOOOSSSSSS....yeah baby thats how you get an na cranking...lol
one thing that does surprise me is that its running standard capacity from what i can tell, would of expected oversize pistons at least.....oh well im sure they know what there doing ...lol
i have a tt but i still admire/appreciate this car,and doesnt the engine bay look tidy without the standard plenum and intake!

I id say higher compression has abit to do with it aswell, gathering from all the strengthened internals  .
