prices probably aren't as high as that in QLD but damn close.

    Dang, now everything goes up

everything we buy will now be more expensive, the reserve bank will have to increase the interest rate, and even a rise of .25% for some peoples' loans will be an extra tank or 2 of petrols worth to pay extra per month (even at the ridicoulous prices fuel is at now).

Apparantly the latest price hike in oil is because of the jitters between the US and Iran.

no the last price hike is due to a greedy fuckin easter bunny

i spoke to the curry at the petrol station near me and asked him why the fuck it jumped 15 cents over night and he told me because everyone else did it, so i asked him where doe sthe extra 15c go, he told me the petrol station gets the profit, so i told him there was someone jumping off a bridge and to go copy him, bastard, didnt fill up that night :angry::angry:

The price of crude has hit a record high of USD $71ish due to the increase in tension in the Middle East (Iran & US as well as Israel and Palestine) PLUS China is using more oil than ever before (25% more than the first quarter last year) so supply and demand is all messed up.

Plus the Aus dollar is decreasing in value.

With regards to interest rates i thought that the increase in fuel costs would slow the economy thus reducing likelyhood of RBA increasing interest rates.

    $97 holy crap!

How big is the tank on zeds? lol It's not quite that bad here yet but I usually spend $70 to fill up the supra (70L). I have resorted to getting 95 octane crap from matilda the past couple of times because the servos did the usual $1.12 in the arvo $1.25 at night  Car doesnt have as much punch on 95 tho :(

    come on US and australia........

hurry up introduce fuel flex in new cars. Quit with that hybrid garbage and start introducing renuables. With less petrol demand = cheaper prices for us :thumbsup:.
