02's dont fit in manifolds

so basically, took my extractors off the NA to sell and go back to stock.

i bought a new set of 02 sensors from CAZ to go with the NA manifolds.

problem im facing is that the hole in the manifold for them is way to big and the 02's dont screw in, they are made for a much smaller hole.

these are the NGK ones from Caz aswell.

anyone had this problem? is there something im doing wrong?

 

There is an adaptor that screws into the manifold sometimes. Maybe that is missing. I know I have them on the V8 manifolds, can't remember with the VG.

Hmmm, there are adaptors in stock dumps for O2 sensors. I am not sure about NA manifolds.

Seems odd that aftermarket manifolds would need any adaptor.

Eric would prob know aboiut the NA

 

no, the Aftermarket extractors that came off seem to fit the 02's without the adapters, but the stock ones needs these adapters

 

Ahh OK then I expect that the adpators are exactly the same as the ones in TT dumps.

There should be a heap of them around seeing almost everyone upgrades them.

Give UAS a call. I expect they would have piles of old dumps lying around with the adaptors still in them. John probably throws them out.

yep ..stock N/A need the adaptors .. these sometimes come free when removing the 02 sensors after heavy soaking with inox ....

..around 22-23mm from memory ...
