02 sensor wires

    OK here's the deal.

I have a car in the shead.

The drivers side 02 sensor isn't plugged in to anything, and there's no plug for it on the engine side of the loom. Considering some of the creative wiring on the car this isn't surprising.

I also have three random wires that have been chopped off and are poling out the drivers side of the wiring loom. I'm hoping these are the ones I need, but not really sure as they look to have been cut and extended previously so there are no colours to check (they're all black).

Question is IF these are the three wires I need then

    1. Signal wire should have continuity with pin 29, yes?

    2. Assuming one of the three is the signal wire, then I'm hoping that the other two are the power wires for the heater. How do I confirm this?

    Thx in advance

Nevermind looks like the manual has my answers HERE

    In Sum,

There are three wires on the body side.

The input signal wire (middle of the plug) should have continuity with the ECU (pin 29 right side, pin 55 left side).

The power wire (right-hand side of the plug if the connector clip is on top and you are looking at the pins) should have continuity with the ENG CONT fuse.

The ground circuit wire (left-hand side of the plug if the connector clip is on top and you are looking at the pins) should have continuity with an earth.

Hope that helps somebody, now to find out if I'm better or worse of than I was when I started lol
