0-100km/hr for your Z?

I've seen all kinds of "factory" quoted 0-100km/hr figures ranging from 5secs to over 6secs for TT Z's. I can consistently get 5.3secs (G-Tech) 0-100km/hr in my TT Z.

Just wondering what others can get? Has anyone got a Z that would shatter the ego of a Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder owner/driver? And, so you are not left out, this thread is open to NA owners as well :p

    Here:

Off my 12.52 at 113mph timeslip:

    1/8 mile 8.0
    MPH - 86

    http://www.wallaceracing.com/0-60_equation.php

From memory the slotcar is near 2.9 with this calc.

Note this is for 0-60mph which is actually 0-98kph if you want to get technical:)

I got 5.8 in the wet using a laptop plugged into Consult port. Not very technical, and I really need to try in dry.

0 to 110Kphr in around one second
But that was on the burnout pad starting in second gear
actual car speed was more like 0.02Kphr LOL!!

On the road I struggle to get under five but have done it once or twice.
Very very hard to do though with the surge of power at mid range usually resulting in smoke from the tyres and not a lot of acceleration.

    Similar...

...just for the hell of it, no passenger seat no spare and tools n rear blind removed. On the road parrallel to the Frankston freeway (the one that goes to Bangholm) seemed like just on 7 sec (not perfrct or exact when alone)

about the same for my NA...but without all the smoke and shifting at about 5000rpm

According to the calc, 3.9 sec, although that was on MT drag radials.
I have consistently done 5.0 sec flat on the nexens, but traction is the enemy on street tyres.

All road testing done on a flat section of road where the speed limit is 100KMPH (Same road I took you down Karl :))

i dare say there would be no Zeds here that would smash a lambo to 100kays on the street

If the slot car could go on the street. And I'm sure some of the boys in the US could hehe.

If Fleet could get traction i recon he could give a lambo a real good scare.

but thats the point, they cant get traction on the street with street tyres.

    I'll have to borrow 5K1TZX's G-TECH...

But I wouldn't expect it to be anything flash. I think my 100kph-200kph would be more impressive.

for a gallardo all you need are a good set of tyres and a traction control unit and it would be pretty even providing your zed has around 320rwkw

15k worth of mods.....including engine rebuild

unlikely erik, you cant compete with a good 4wd set up on street tyres . A gallardo is around the 3.7 mark. thats extremely difficult for a 2wd car

the gallardo uses street tyres....its the higher end gallardos ones that use slicks, in which case you you would put them ont he zed too to make things even.

both cars weigh the same.....it would all come down to the driver in my opinion :)

the 911 turbo does it in around that time....and thats rear wheel drive

i know the gallardo is quick, but not unbeatable for a zed to 100kmph.....ill prove it in about 1 year :D :p
