I have only a few little regrets and number one is buying too soon. I paid $13500 for my NA 6 years ago and if I had waited for only 6 months (maybe less) I could have imported a TT for half that :( Hindsight is a terrible thing ;)

I am thankful though that I got it either way as I have learned a LOT about how a car works and do a bit of mech work on the beast myself :zlove:

    Cheers

    My advice...

And this applies to just about anything, not just Zeds...

    - You get what you pay for.

Hey Craig I hope you and Ren are well. With the droning, all NA's will bark and drone a little with a straight through muffler. The secret is to go triple flow on an NA. Provides NO droning and gives essential back pressure. Karl (90TTZ) still thinks my zorst was the BEST he has seen / listened to in australia (for NA's). Im so honnored Karl ;)

So on the topic of silly zed choices number 1 must be using any sort of Cannon or Straight tin can muffler. Number 2 must have been using coilovers for 95% road use which completely distroys the fine ride the zed was designed for!

    for me I'd add

    1) Buying unseen. NEVER do this. Not just for Zeds. For ANY car. Its stupid looking back.

    2) Putting things off. Not always my fault but as others have said "quit bitching and start fixing"

    3) Looking at what Car i want next (370z, 350z vert, Testarrosa). While its fine to dream, DONT spend you're whole life pinning after what you dont yet have. Concentrate on what you DO have and make it work for you.

    4) Being scared to get my hands dirty. As I've learned slowly, and best way to bond with your Zed, AND to begin to understand it, IS to do as much as you can yourself.

    5) Not checking for the rubber seal left over from the last Oil Filter :p = oil all over the garage floor haha

    6) Living with ugly wheels for over a year. "The rims maketh the car".
