well we can't really afford it TBH. 3rd party, DIY and second hand parts off the forums. without these 3 we're all doomed.
Hey Nothing wrong with being over 30 and owning a zed, I'm 40 and own one and I love it!. Actually I'm 40 and own two, N/A and TT. Oh yeah. Gotta love these cars. Where abouts in Perth are ya?, I'm down in Mandurah.
Sigh. when i asked this question i pretty much got the same answers... etc, etc, Dude, theres pleanty of health zeds for 10k in perth, open the quokka there is at least 5 every week for between 10-12 and 1 or 2 that are even under 10, for twin turbo ones. my zed cost me 9k and theres nothing wrong with it... edit : people seem to be forgetting that these cars are old, and 10k for a zed in MY OPINION is pretty over priced, speccialy for a stock 1989 model. but hey, thats just my opinion.
not when you consider what you get for the price. it was nissans top model. you reckon in 17 years time the current NEW GT-R will only be worth 10k? what about BMWs that are asking 20k plus the same age as our zeds. remember these cars cost about 120k when new for a TT all the options a fully optioned NA ranged from 75k-90k
I know this, but this stuff only matters to enthusiets like us, 90% of people will simply look at the car as a 18 year old japanese car. They also take that into account when selling it, hence why when you open the news paper you wont find someone selling a 1989-1992 model 300zx for over 12k, and if they are asking for 12k its going to be a long time before its sold. The new gtr? why even bring that up, theres a difference between a ZX and a gtr, even the old r32 gtr's are still going for 20k, even the 1989 models. this is a 300zx, not a gtr.
