Hey, Is there a way of changing the colour of the vinyl/plastic dash ? Some type of paint? Would look so much better in black than dark grey: Kurt
I love the stock layout... I think if you to start painting it and stuff like that, it may look different but I really think it'll cheapen the look of a classy Zed car... Thats just my view though.
The stock layout is great but doesn't mean it couldn't look even better  I just think the OEM grey is so dated looking
i wouldnt be too concern with the dark grey but rather the cloth interior, replace that with quality vynl/leather in a soft colour to contrast and the car will look like magic. My favourite must be light tan.
I am going to remove the cloth and ==> Replace it with red leather, going to do the door trims, cloth sections on dash and the rear grey cloth behind the seats, going to set this off with some red and black sports seats. Regards Mark
i painted my plastic parts a very glossy black i know, it doesnt sounds like much difference but it come up very nice and makes the interior even classier than b4
Definately very snazzy ! My first aim will be to get my paintwork halfway to that standard (gotta work thru 6 months Japanese fallout). I think I'll stick to stock insides. Cheers, Dean
Just dropped off the whole interior today..>> to get totally trimmed in leather. I looked at hundreds of pics of ppls interiors, went to car shows, searched through magazines, went to prestige car dealerships (that was fun, car salesmen kept offering drives as I looked so very interested, I just had to obligue them ) Anyway, if you want something YOU will like I would recommend the same approach, it helps form the mental picture of what it will look and feel like. In the end I went for a German leather in Parchment hue, still deciding on whether to have charcoal stitch or black or matching, but definately will be awesome to slot all that in when it's finished!
Thanks Rob...link to more photo's at bottom The plastic console I think you are talking of painting looks great with a Carbon fiber kit! Photos of my car
I just love the look of this I was at the trimmers to get it done to mine till he told me how much. $2500 to $3000 !!! I ended up just getting the grey seat fixed. How much is the quote you got ??
Is black & yellow the only other alternative to the grey trim? I thought mine was custom trim but then I saw another car with the same trim.
How much to get a standard seat fixed, mine has the normal wear on the drivers side bolster  quite small at the moment but I don't want it to get any bigger: Also how do they do it ? do they repair it or just recover the bolster ? Cheers, Matt.
