    Gee that's pretty crazy and I'm glad your partner is ok and your little one wasn't in the car at the time.

    As for the Zed :( :sorry: ...nothing can ever replace the memories you had with that car, but you can hope to build another one just as good by transferring what is not damaged to another one :) ..make sure you don't leave the forum :)

    Hi Ian,
    Lynne & I are so very sorry to see your Z looking like this, but delighted to know that your sweetheart is not seriously hurt(or worse).
    We saw your car just outside of town(heading North)when we were returning to Sydney from the Nissan/Datsun Nationals weekend in Warwick a couple of years ago).
    Cars can be replaced....People CAN'T...:eek::eek::eek:
    Hope you bounce back soon.

    Lloyd & Lynne :zlove::zlove:

    so glad that like my own accident the driver was able to walk away relatively undamaged, still a bit shaken by it myself, took a stagea for test drive today as i am leaning towards something slightly less powerful for a daily, and when i hit boost even with how much less it was than my Z it still gave me a shiver as last time i boosted it was into a tree.

    one thing is for sure, despite half the roof missing and being made of glass, the Z32 takes a hit pretty well

    (mine was caused by foot jamming on accelerator under brake from take off from lights and steering to avoid motorbike who illegally overtook, on freshly resurfaced road after light drizzle, worst possible combo ever)

    Sorry I must have miss-understood your point when you said "Yes, but I feel safer in a RWD than a FWD when it is wet.
    I won't go back to FWDs"

    It seemed as if you were implying that a RWD car is more controllable than a FWD car in the wet (or other slippery conditions).

    Hence my reference to Rally.

    My bad.

    Thanks guys. All the best. I look forward to hopefully being a zx owner again. I have owned two, a third time might be lucky. :)
