Lookup stage 3 components on the internet for a 300ZX TT this will give you 396 hp @ 13.5 psi. boost. fly wheel dyno results.
400whp? Australian dyno or US dyno? What fuel? Most of these guys will say you can't do 400whp on stock turbos, I'm yet to be convinced. "499whp" Code: http://specialtyz.com/blog/?p=441 I want to start off by thanking some of the people that have helped in making this happen. Either by their knowledge, excellent products, help & support. Thanks You to Greg & Seb @ Specialty Z, Mike Smith @ MSP, My Welder Darren @ AT, Everyone @ http://www.projectz32.com, All the guys @ RPS Clutches, Charles @ PowerTrix, All the guys @ Fast Intentions, Brett @ BDE, Jim @ Selin Design, Jason K., Dean D., Robbie S., Ryan E., & anyone that I may have left out. When I decided I wanted to set a new Stock: Turbo/Heads/Block Record I didn't ever think it would make this much power. When we finished up the tune on 100 octane & it matched the prior record, I knew we were about to see something special. I have been talking this up for about a year now & there have been many supporters along the way and just as many haters. I'm sure that there will be people that cry "foul play", saying that I cheated in some way & that these # are not possible on stock turbos..... It goes to show that their are products out their that are "good enough" for some people and others that are the best. I did not skimp on the bill on this build, I only put on the best products. Here is the abbreviated mods list: *Completely stock/un-modified Bottom End *Completely stock/un-modified 40P Heads *Completely stock/un-modified 5 speed cams *Completely stock/un-modified 5 speed turbos (NOT SP500!) *Specialty Z Custom Dyno Tune 91, 100 & 116 *Specialty-Z SS 4-Bolt 3" Expansion Down Pipes w/ Wastegate Separators *Specialty-Z SS 3" Test Pipes *Specialty-Z: SS 3" Single Oval Cat-Back Exhaust *Specialty-Z 6QT Oil Pan *Specialty-Z Multi Map 16 Program Switcher *Specialty-Z 1 Piece Clutch Line w/ New Slave Cylinder *MSP Manifolds (Mike Smith) *Selin Translator *Custom "Intercooler" Piping 2.5" *Custom "Suction Pipes" w/ Jim Wolf Duel 350Z Filters 2.5" *Custom "Accordion" Pipes 2.5" *Stock "Turbo Inlet" Pipes *AshSpec Massive SMIC *Z1 58mm Throttle Bodies *Mild Port & Polish Upper Intake Plenum *Specialty-Z "High Five" Puck Clutch (The lightest clutch made for the Z32) *RPS Segmented Flywheel *Z1 Platinum Aluminum 1 piece drive shaft (Might get replaced with a CF DS in the future) *Blitz SBC ID Boost Controller *300 Degree Fuel Rails w/Nismo 740cc Injectors *CZP Fuel Rail Lines (OEM route) *BDE Engine Mounts *BDE Intake Cam Gears (un-adjusted) *Tomei Exhaust Cam Gears (adjusted) *Koyo Radiator *Stillen Lower Radiator Hard Pipe *Unorthodox Racing Crank Pulley *YB HI Over Drive Water Pump Pulley *Nissan R34 Skyline Wheels, 18"x9" +30 Offset (19#ea) *265/35/18 Falken Azenis RT-615 (I will never buy these tires again) *Stock 3.69 diff *All Deletes done *Full weight As a note there are graphs in both SAE & STD. I only post the STD Graph because it made 499.78WHP & 533.50WTQ, generically "500HP on stock turbos". It made 491 on SAE. There are a few "little things" that I can do still to make it crack the 500hp mark on the industry standard of SAE. what I wish I did was sell my current car and buy one that already had everything I wanted. Will probably save you at least 50c in every dollar you spend. of course you miss out on all the anguish of doing it yourself,
This is what it took me to get 410rwhp, on 98 octane: Standard engine (auto cams, though have manual transmission), 555cc injectors Garrett 2560 turbos Bigger dumps to fit 5 bolt turbos 3 inch exhaust Pod filter Big japtek SMICs (now for sale) EBC Nistune Thats all you need to make a reliable 400hp at the wheels. If I was to go back in time & do it again would prob save for a forged engine & 2860rs to pull 500rwhp, but for now gonna have to be happy with 410.
