Love the colour coded lip, great choice. Some stillen sides would finish it off body wise...or even the kaminari sides with the twinz skirt attachments but coloured coded as well. Is that it suspension setup wise?

much better look with the front bar.

    Anti 14.7 x 14.7 = 44.1

Looks freaking great, if that lip was urethane it would have me thinking

    Windscreen decal looks stupid though

I'm happy with the exterior for the mean time & I don't intend on getting skirts at this point. The original plan was to get some TwinZ side skirts and paint them body colour, but due to them being fibreglass and requiring drilling into the chassis to mount I wasn't keen.

Lots of suspension work to do still to get it handling the way I want.

I don't think it looks stupid, but looks cleaner without it. But being a sponsor (I'm required to have it) I couldn't think of a better place & don't think it looks that bad at all.

The 2k style bumper comparison makes me consider doing the same thing. Looks really nice

Do you have any photos of the 2k spec brake master cylinder lying around, is it a bm57?

You and me both! Looks awesome

Me third. Too bad that TwinZ lip isn't urethane or I'd be actively considering the switch. Colour coding looks fantastic.

Wow congrats. Can't believe a unicorn was in WA.

Shame it looks like it was a little neglected but awesome find.

Can't think of a better z owner to bring it back up to show room condition :)

    Hello all,

I had a small amount of time to play with the Z recently and decided it would be a good idea to check under the battery. For all of you new the the Z game, it is very common to find rust in this area & my slicktop was no exception.

Below is a pic after giving the shelf a scrub with scotch brite to remove all the loose crud.

The battery tray looked different from what I remembered in my 2+2 & sure enough it is. The tray does not have a drain funnel like my previous Z had. I wonder when this changed (and why)? Does anyone else have a tray like this?

After giving the battery shelf a quick going over I treated it with some anti-rust. I will keep an eye on the area & it will probably require more attention in the future.

I also gave the engine bay a bit of a tidy. I relocated the two plugs that are normally attached to the outside of fuse box via a bracket to a more discrete location near headlight. I also rerouted to wiring to the TPS and relocated the connector to near the strut tower.

Lastly another pic from the mini-shoot I did a while back I had not posted.

I've just noticed that the windscreen washer bottle is in the same spot as it would be on a 2+2? Is that the same with all slicktops? Or maybe a 2k thing?

They are not the only bushes that could do with replacing.

Went out to get some photo's done with a friend (previous Z owner) as he got himself a new wizz-bang camera. After being pursued by the Police we got to the location I had in mind, only to find a POS Pulsar parked right where I had in mind.

So we headed down to the waterfront, but it was hard finding somewhere quiet. In the end I did a bit of a naughty and squeezed the Z past some poles to access a prime spot for some photos. We were later kicked out, but I think we were there long enough to get some nice shots.

I haven't see the pics my friend has taken yet, but I took my old Canon 400D along to snap a few. I'm very rusty, but here is what I ended up with.

    Love it

Lovely shots John. It'd be nice to see the shots your mate took too, but your shots are pretty decent and well composed.

Thats a great area for some really moody and spectacular shots too, me thinks. Wife and I were down there in 2012 for a week's holiday.

    Cheers
    Chris
