tassuperkart Its a lie I tell you!

    Degreaser down the mufflers???? Uh-ooooohhh!
Mufflers are full of stuffing/packing... its how they work. Its also porous.
And you want to wash the oil further into the muffler packing and smoke longer.........prolly not a wise move.

The shit will just burn off by its self. I drove for about 3 hours on the freeway and mine cleaned up

    pmac Z,, IT'S COMPLICATED!!!!!

Shit I hope this is the same problem my car has. Have just replaced the head gaskets. Just took it for a test run, first time the turbos have spooled up correctly, after 3 runs up to 5000 rpm she started pouring out white smoke. Drove quietly home and consulted the bible ( this amazing web sight) Ran the car after reading this and seemed to run fine.
Car has a lot of history, 2nd previous owner reconned the turbos then ran with waste gates wide open - result, blown piston, then sold the car.
Previous owner replaced the engine with a supposedly low Km Jap import + the reconned turbos. She had the car running for four days, lost it on a courner 200m from home and put it into her neighbours brick wall.
I then bought it for a project and rebuilt the front end. I had just put the last bolt in and was all ready for a pits check, noticed some fluid under the car, a lovely milkshake of oil and water it was. So have spent the last 6 weeks replacing head gaskets, machining heads, replacing water and fuel lines, all injector connections and recovering all the old britle wiring split tube with Techflex F6.
About now I'm thinking that this car could really be jinxed !!
