I live 2 minutes from lake side, was pretty good last year, lots of old old jappers there and no 300s, mine will be done this time.

What's the go? Is everyone racing or just entering the show and shine?

I'm keen on sprints and drags.

 

I,ll be doing the drags and maybe the sprints.

 

I dunno, I havent even read the post about the event but I'll be there.

Yeah, Baz I don't know. I found it hard to believe but that is what he said. Anyway regardless even if Fleet has flown the flag in the past(which is great), I believe that we as a group need to show up in numbers to events like this They are great days out surrounded by fellow enthusiasts.

 

Entry forms & cut off dates

Hey Pete,

did Ray give you a cut off date for registration? More importantly for the 1/8 mile? was looking at their website - CJSS has the forms but no dates that I can see


Also would anyone have a spare XL helmet I could borrow on the day? please

 

Will be in touch with Ray in the next couple of days, but I believe Drags is 1st 24 cars to register only.
Probably a good idea for those who are on the list to put next to thier names which motorsport events they are interested in

Sprints are tempting but...

I really would prefer entering the sprints but my suspension and brakes won't be sorted in time

1/8 mile will be fun though

Accomodation - google search accomodation in Kallangur/Petrie - Im pretty sure there are some motels along Anzac Avenue

Not sure there is much in the Narangba/Dakabin area but a search should tell you

Otherwise I'm sure there would be accomodation at Northlakes somewhere (depending on how far you wish to travel)
