ideas on new seats?

hey guys

i love the stick z seats but they are getting a tad old and torn, and seat covers aint doing it for me, ive been looking about but so far ive only seen one set of seats i like the look of


they are a tad expensive though about 3k each

any others that you guys know of that are good quality like this but are much much cheaper will be big help

There are the cheap dodgy chinese knockoffs if you are keen

Or you could find some OEM Recaro's like me

There are plenty of other seats out there, Sparco, Momo, Recaro, Velo, Cobra.

Or if you are keen you could find a set of these out of a 996 GT3

If you have a 2+0 you can use fixed back bucket seats too. No need to restrict yourself to recliners. Unless you are fUlLy HeKtIc and like to lie down while you drive.

Unfortunately it was that costly, he is now only half a working man. haha.

Nah something like that all depends on your trimmer and material.

But agreed that really is an inspirational interior, may pinch it one day.

You can get the stock seats' bolsters and bum cushions reshaped to provide more support. Not much extra cost if you are getting them reapholstered either. I think the styling of the z32 seat is a unique part of the car and look great. This is my plan

As for a trimmer in Adl, i know of a few local blokes. One in particular is really good. Had him do some work on my dato. Fair pricing too.

Chris woodward, but hes in gawler. I asked him about retrimming the 300zx seats i have to put into the ute. in leather, was very well priced. But i thought about it and opted against it. Going to get them ebay covers. after all its a dato haha.

What do you want done, just seats or everything?

As the option is, i have 2 sets of tween seats. One set is to go into my ute and the other were cheap so i bought them. If Chris goodward does a good price for you, send off the spare set of my seats, get them done and bolt them then into your zed, and ill have what you have, obviously if its tweed that is.

I wouldnt mind using the spares as deck chairs in the shed or as the name says it, on the deck. maybe an office chair too lol.

My seats are a little worn and torn so at this stage, just the seats. I've done all the rubbing down I can but I would love the new leather look like URHYNS.

ps. Didn't want to check out your stuff, just the zed's. I tend to encourage friends to keep their pants on in my presence!
