i cant see it restricting any more air flow, as its a larger diameter than the TB's, by having two your matching one to each TB, so it wouldnt be the biggest restriction in the intakes.

300zxt i didnt ask for your opinion on why not to use an afm, i asked if its possible to use two,

    thanks for the input guys

It is possible, most of the guys in america seem to go for the splice N' chip method (check out their forums for more info). This way one can increase the overall diameter of air going in and still keep the advantages of MAF. One thing to remember though that if a MAF sensor is to go, it ends up kicking you in the pocket a bit.

To me it is just one more thing to fail, the advantage does not outweigh the disadvantage IMHO.

    Peace :)

octo pods will just be awesome, but i think ill go with hecto pods, one afm for each cylinder, and 6 lots of piping :D:D:D

cost of the afm isnt to much of an issue as i have spares, and my mechanic can get me new ones for the $100 mark :)

samuraigecko thanks man, will check it out, is it tt.net?

    cheers

What makes you think map sensor will be a problem?

i dont think it will be a problem, but a few people i spoke to agreed map sensors can be unpredictable and to stick with afm's
