thanks peter. early starts really arent an issue mate, get up every weekday at 5:15... infact shots 3, 5 & 8 were taken when i stopped for fuel on the way to work on tuesday. The first being a sunset just after i got down the coast after work last week. cheers, tim
The lighting in number 3 is great. Just those few minutes before the sun comes up are usually perfect, as I have told Andrew, the biggest thing to remember when you are photographing cars is that you are not photographing teh car at all, what you are actually photographing is the reflections in the surface of the car. For this reason, the ideal situation (other than a car studio....) is at the seaside, right by the water's edge on a completely calm, clear day when the sky is getting light but the sun has not yet risen. You then go and stand on the sea side of the car so the bits of the car facing you are reflecting dead clear sky and flat ocean with a perfectly flat horizon in between and nothing else. Unfortunately the chances of finding this ideal situation are slim but if you keep that theoretical ideal and the reasoning behind it in mind you will do well.
Lidz Zed Photo Shoot Hi lidz, Wow, there are some great shots there mate, well done! Nice Zed Nice Photos Nice Camera Nice Rims Great Job! O.K. now lets see the rest of them photos you are hiding Thanks for sharing.
Oh, yeah, another point to add to my photo tips, only show people the shots you are really happy with, maintain the air of infalibility.
That's one of the reasons I got the Pentax... their cameras are compatible with any lens they have ever made!
