recently got a DSLR so have had a bit of a play, weather permiting, the last couple weekends. Have been experimenting with a couple different methods & am pretty stoked with the results:D

I dont think its leatehr, but I'm I think he put it iin himself (a least some of it) and it does look great! I was tempted to get a tan interior, but I've had a few reasons to change....non of which are bad...as I'd love to see Tim's interior properly at the next GOR cruise ;)

bang on Andrew, one of max's kits, all black leatherette with red stitching. This is what the kits look like when you actually take your time:rolleyes: seat base isnt perfect but other than that they look fantastic. tan material is velour.

Chad have had foggies sitting in my cupboard for nearly 2 years, on the 'to do' list:D they're just a prick to fit to an aus-spec, gotta get all the lights rewired & im lazy! clear indicators are coming very soon, getting through greenline rather than pay others silly prices.

& Col I got a pentax K10D with the standard pentax 18-55mm lens, brilliant camera.

    cheers, tim

    red32 You talkin' to me?

Yeah, Tim, I recently got a K100D (slightly cheaper version of the K10), Sigma 18-55mm lens. Great cameras! Next purchase is the Sigma 18-200mm lens... costs almost the same as the camera.

ha ha, i know lens are ridiculous!
luckily the old mans got a nice collection of pentax lens for his SLR's which, brilliantly, are all interchangable. My experience with his pentax SLR's was the reason i went their new DSLR. Pentax just make fantastic cameras.

    Nice shots indeed.

Good time of the day to shoot too, if you can find the right location just before the sun comes up on a perfectly clear day will give you some incredible results (if your camera can handle longer exposures cleanly, digital cameras tend to have problems with that). You do need to be pretty keen though, you need to be there quite early to get set up, you usually only have a couple of minutes of perfect light and often you end up with nothing at all if conditions are not just right.
