Yeah its all together . just finished putting stillen side skirts and carbon ganador mirrors on . will get some photos up this weekend .:zlove: .
The fittings are Aeroflow and all good ,seals fine . Sorry guys was a very wet weekend for pics . Coming soon .,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, :br:
Thanks guys. That type of fitting is always rated for less pressure than whats used for fuel at other manufacturers (Fragoli,Earls...) Does Aeroflow rate theirs different maybe?
sorry guys ... but I snapped another cam This time at warm up driving at 2500 - 3000rpm . makes no sense ! totally different engine Cam gears are currently at BDE ...inspected with no evidence of problems . heads have new set of valves fitted .. (a few were bent) bottom end ,pistons fine . new Jun intake cam set on the way. be back together real soon .
Everything is new .. TOTALLY DIFFERENT ENGINE I'm still cant help but point to the gears somehow ......... considering getting a new set exchange just to be safe .
Turbos will be going up for sale ,only 1500km the welded intakes will be removed so you will need to make some or just use silicone hose straight on. direct bolt up with bde engine mounts .
That's really odd. Normally on ohc engines a broken cam will be a result of low oil pressure and the cam journal seizing or a head that is warped I wonder if it's a manufacturing fault with the cams
well I thought that of the previous JWT regrind but now a Jun cam as well. The intake cams break at the oil gallery ,its obviously the weakest point . the series 2 being the heaviest of the gears coupled with heavier springs (coupled with a stronger activating spring in the bde ??) is reaching the fatique strength of the cams . that's all I can come up with .
