Looks good Cam, been considering white LED's for a while now, only issue I have is the hot spots.

I'll have to check yours at the BBQ :)

Sorry dean mate I can't make it to the BBQ :( I've got help family move that weekend... The hits spots will be sorted, just need to pull my thumb out to get to it again! Lol

I have a write up on the tech page for how to set your cluster up the same as mine. The next hard thing is your left pod! Right pod lights up as you see with Robs led kit...

So I'm right stuck in the middle of changing the shifter bushings to remove that sloppy shifter feel. Finally, yesterday, we got the gearknob off, but only after we'd shredded the leather wrap AND the rubber underneath it. It was stuck on pretty tight :\

I've also got a noise coming from the rear of the car when I hit exactly 1.7k revs :| It's hard to describe, sort of a hissy whooshy noise. Doesn't sound like an exhaust thing. Dunno.

    An update:
Currently looking into the cruise control which doesn't work, appears to be due to a broken vacuum cable.
Got a head unit, slick basic Kenwood one just like the one I've had since 2007 :D

Got a replacement aerial. As it happens, it's actually the one from my previous Z32 which I wrote off. Couldn't be more perfect :D

And with that, and the shifter bushings being done...the boot can go back together, seats can go in, dash can go together, and she should be ready for the Melbourne cruise this weekend! I haven't really driven it since I bought it, very excited.
But there are some things I'd like to get done before then which I may not be able to...I need to swap the rims back to stock, get the tint stripped off because it's shit, and get some body damage fixed. But that can wait.

I need to buy a DIN storage pocket thing to fill my blank hole. Will a generic Autobarn one do the job?

More fun tonight. Unfortunately not many pics, I have to do it after work (=7pm+) so every night it's a race to beat the dying sun. Also, by that stage my phone is dying, and it doesn't like taking photos and using flash when dying.

Got the front seats out. The passenger side is right up near a brick wall, but I took the driver's seat out first so I couldn't move the car to get it out. Managed to get it out the t-top without scratching anything or jamming the door into the bricks, was a miracle.
Found out that both leather seats should plug straight in to the new Z with full functionality (electric driver's with seatbelt sensor). Hopefully it all works out ;)

Got the head unit sitting in the dash to test the replacement aerial. Goes up and down just fine :D But the plug doesn't mesh with the new head unit, so I'll need a harness or something.
Lovely having a piece of my old cream car working in the new one *sheds tear*

Also took the cruise control actuator out for replacement. There should be a black tube coming out of the center of this for the vacuum hose to connect to, it's been snapped off, along with part of the plastic surrounding it. Someone's been swinging this thing against a wall or something :\ It probably still works, but without that section it's useless:

Are you talking about the aerial plug? If so, you can get adapters from Repco/SSV/Autobarn.

I'd rather just go down the street and get one at this stage.

    How she currently stands:

So still very much in many pieces. Coming together though.
Got the new aerial in, lovely to have that hole plugged, and it works!

    Anti 14.7 x 14.7 = 44.1

Neither of my Z32's have had cruise and I've always wanted it, I've started collecting the parts for retrofitting it but then I went and did the wire tuck so... undecided, haha.

I use mine everyday, its save money on fuel consumption and speeding fines. its people who don't daily their Zeds that don't make any sense to me.
