on that note hub adapters arent legal for use on street cars but are quite capable of being used on track cars which puts more stress on the components. same with seats. makes you question the authorities logic behind not approving certain modifications.

that being said most street cars wouldnt be set up with full roll cages, you wouldnt be driving in a full fire suit and i doubt you would be wearing a helmet in the event that the modification was to fail. you probably also wouldnt have a rescue team and pit crew standing by in the event that something did go wrong either.

buuuttt, if you were in an accident on the street and the non approved seat broke and caused you severe spinal injuries or death then you would probably be less likely to recieve any large insurance payout to help you with rehabilitation for the rest of your life. Something to think about???

Yep! That's pretty much exactly the point I was making(if they are not "sanctioned" it gives the Lawyers an enormous opportunity to argue non-liability on behalf of Insurance Companies).:([TIS]

Went and checked them out today, They are great quality and surprisingly have soft padding :). None the less these are racing seats and you have to be.. well skinny to fit in these properly! Only looked the recaros in detail though.
