NSW Tech day...finally!!! Sunday Sept. 12th

OK... Here we go again! 29th is out - (grandson's birthday). September 5th is out - Father's Day! So, it would seem Sunday, September 12 is THE Day!!
Same venue - rear Emerald Press, 4 Anella Ave, Castle Hill. Start time 9.00.
Please advise jobs needed to be done to forewarn tech gurus. Bring own chair. Plenty of concrete parking at rear of building.

 

I'll be there if time permits. Just happy to meet up with the herd...

never been to a tech day. Hows it work? Everyone gets together, hang out, fix things on each others cars? Or raather offer morale and support while we fix our own problems?

Ill do my best to come along. Put some faces to the names.

Work im planning to have done for me by others: VH45 conversion

Things on mine that i could have a go at on the day, and assistance would be appreciated:

-Egr exhaust manifold pipe rusted in. Need to remove and bung up to stop spewing exhaust.
-Exhaust leak from drivers b/w turbo and dump. Gasket damaged. Have new gasket ready to replace.
-If anyone has nistune software and
knowledge, id like to adjust afm value for dual intake with dummy maf.

Haha... sounds like some pretty easy-peasy stuff there, Attila... the V8 conversion probably won't be finished until after lunch, 'tho!!
Mate, depends how many are there and what skills are available... obviously the more the merrier and tech guys are AlWAYS welcome and much appreciated. Plus, (for those in the know!) we have a wasp-free zone and provide butter for the snag rolls! (Well, most times!!). My newly-fitted motor also needs some Consult tuning... boys????

 

Figures. You finally get it organised (in warmer weather too) and I'll be away. We are driving "America's Best Drive" Billings, Montana to Yellowstone Wyoming down the Beartooth Highway.

Almost as much fun as cleaning PTU connectors.

Ive got the headers to put on myself so ill only need to block it for a few days, cuz i want to see how to take everything off and put back on so i can do the headers myself another night...

Also i dont think i was, as in last night?, the only place i went last night was to menai and back...it wasnt me sorry

Hahaha.... sorry - Tech Day is ON!! Just wanted to scare Barry that I'd be with him! My problem is a distinct lack of the folding stuff that buys great overseas trips... have a great one, Barry - WISH I was going!

I'm gonna try my hardest to get there to give an opportunity for people waiting on their HID kits if that suits, saves running around everywhere. Just have to get the day off work.
