NSW Tech day...finally!!! Sunday Sept. 12th

I'm in again. Will be great to meet some Sydney Z'ers at last. Spoke to Eric (A2Zed) today and he has the new motor in and running :br:. Car should be back down here in Sydney by next week (I hope)!!! Cant wait.....bought it in May and have only seen it once since.... So there will no doubt be plenty of things to check and look over on the car. Looking forward to having a look at what people have done to their interiors for inspiration. Hopefully JT (John) will be there so I can check out his macrosuede.:zlove:

Should have mentioned... I will have a 2+hp compressor and wheel ramps available for use. Feel free to bring power drills and grinders. Anyone need food other than (burnt) snags and bread (yeah, yeah... with butter!!) for lunch??

Looking to get my new front bar fitted properly and lining up 100% and same with my reverse light panel, and maybe lowering my idle a little. Other than that, glad to help anyone out.

Hey guys would anyone be keen to have a Guard Roller come out on the Sunday? I was planning to have a guy come to mine on the 11th as im going to throw some tein coilovers in next weekend.

Im not sure if he does work on Sundays but i can give him a call if there is more interest.

From memory its $50/corner without receipt and $60 with receipt.

Great idea, . I actually need to track down some front guard lining and a rear fuel line cover for a 2+0.

Hey Matt, sorry for my ignorance on this but, I understand that rolling the guards allows you to fit some wider rims/tires (especially when lowered)......so what does this process involve? I always imagined that it would be body shop job were repainting was necessary?

 

All they do is roll the inner lip of the guards so that you can fit bigger/wider wheels as you said. They just bend the inner lip, sometimes with the aid if a heat gun so as to not crack the paint, they may also cut the plastic lining on the inside of the wheel well. Obviously if they do crack it you may need to get it touched up. Different to pumping the guards which would involve a little more extensive work.

Hey guys, anyone have some items they may want to sell/buy?

I have the lowered king springs/standard shocks from my zed for sale, lowered my zed around 15mm from standard sagged springs. $200 and I'll put them in as well.

 

oh... oh I want them... but I don't have the wheels they'll have to match yet...

 

lowered zed with standard wheels looks better that one that is not lowered.

 

Hmm... Could become a Tech/Swap Meet Day. I have a range of wheels/tyres for sale... anyone with other interesting stuff??
