hey guys as title states bloody dogs put a beautifull yellow sticker, looks awsome in my windscreen, they say the minimum for the tints is 35, so they decide to stick that sit in ma car, so the question is what do i have to change so i pass the pits. Mods are: * cusco adjustable toe control rods. * fiberglass front and rear bars. * ohh and unfortunatley ive got an oil leak. any thougths will help thanks guys. ohhh and can some one comfirm if it is the 35% the minimum, dont trust this guys, thanks.
I was under the impression for 35... You'll need to fix the oil leak i think you'll find... the problem being if it drips on the road...
yeah just for the tints, funny right as funny as the busteds spotted me in a rundabout they were in front, so they went around it to be behind me and stopped me, not cool some dogs are to bored that they do anything to have somethingb to do. thanks guys.
I managed to get my last Landcruiser over the pits with 8% tint! They were too busy admiring the condition it was in and how nice it drive. After they said it passed and i paid i asked them to test the tint shade... When they tested it they said you might wanna change it but being that the car isnt one that really stands out you'll probably be ok
Lol to that scenario. There's rules and there's rules aye. Bad luck to the OP, a canary for window tint. Sucks. At least the rest of the zed was good. GL with the inspection.
were you driving like a dickhead or anything? i've talked my way out of many well deserved yellow stickers before, sounds like these cops were just dickheads harassing you, you could probably file a complaint if they were in front of you pulled behind you just to pull you over and see if they could yellow sticker you.
I got 7.5% on mine... and i have to drive with my windows down and my heater full ball at night... and can't reverse
What are the insurance repercussions for having your tint too dark? Can they refuse to pay out on claims?
my tint is pretty much all i get checked for everytime i get pulled over by police. Im happy with that.
This was my point. I for one would not like to be stuck with a repair bill are my vehicle let along any other vehicle for an accident. I am not having a go but this is sometimes overlooked.
naahh i was drivig at the speed limit, plus i was slowing down coz the roundabout,their excuse was that they look at me and they couldnt really see my face coz the tints so they had to stop me to check the % of the tints, that sucks.
