Nathan drive like it's stolen? bwahahahahhaha. Never did on any cruises that I saw. Just a little low on the how, so when is that coming or arent we allowed to know.
Well considering this is in the Zed Rebuilds section, i would expect a LOT more detail into this thread. Especially a dyno pic at the minimum. Not doubting anything, as i have no reason to. But I think it's needed considering no one on here has had that much power with that little boost, and we would all like to know what it's all come from. Either way, it's a bloody great power figure and i can't wait to hear more about it.
It's obvious we would all like to know how this has been attained but probably better to vote with feet and not fingers until more information is forthcoming. Not being nasty, fueling a debate on this thread is not worth the time with so little info, so pony up with the zisluv Nathan:diespam:
Lol such pushy little buggers Yeah no time these days. Im typing this while I quickly eat dinner and am due back at the hospital again. Push 90-120hrs per week so thats the reason why Im pretty quiet on these boards lately, plus hasnt been much to add. Like I said in my first post, these are just prelim tuning numbers. Not finished yet. Just going by what information my mechanic has passed on to me, as obviously due to the above Im not around for the tuning sessions. No reason for him to be anything but honest as Ive known him for a long time now. So you guys will have to wait for it to be finished, I reckon a couple more weeks, then you can get your writeup with attached dyno sheets This is just a teaser, like a movie trailer :zlove:
Looks like my dyno record (also on GT28RS's on C16 race fuel) is likely to tumble. Great results so far Nathan. Not even 1 teaser pic?
everyone needs to relax and just wait until the graph is up and the mods are declared. if the claim is true then great, if not then we can flame his socks off
What was yours making at 15PSI Mike? 300 - 350Kw appears to be easy as with the right mods so that's up around 400 - 475Hp, even on stock cams & valves etc mine hit 300Kw @ 15PSI but 550Hp - that's up there but achievable IMO so long as there is decent flow work done to the engine & decent cams to match.
290 at 15psi - but that was rebuilt stock turbos not GT28RS's. Never run the GT28RS's at 15psi. Heres an analysis I did five years ago. GT28RSDynoanalysisDec05.pdf
Bout the same as mine. ~290rwkw @15psi around the 4500rpm mark with stock housings and GT28RS cores. Can't really complain with that. His setup will no doubt show not only small amounts of lag, but pretty top end moster power too! Would love to see "final tune with max boost" printed dyno sheets
im pushing 450 horse at 14psi easy... im pretty sure nathan is running a 3.5/3.8 or 4.0 stroker from memory... with massive turbos 550horse at 15psi is VERY Achievable
Thread title suggests otherwise simmo. Maybe it is a big stroker kit, not too many otherways to get those numbers on 28RS's.
What do u have against more big hp zeds? I don't see what the big deal is. Wait for the dyno sheets...
What do I have against big hp Zeds? Nothing. Is genuine 410rwkw possible at 15psi on GT28RS turbos? No.
Genuine? Like yours you mean? Lol cmon mate, you should know by now that nothing is impossible if you have enuf cash...
And what is that supposed to mean? Surely we are beyond the proverbial dick measuring......... Leave mine out of it there are plenty of cars out there running GT28RS turbos to compare to. As I said, 410rwkw at 15psi on pump gas? Not with GT28RS. No doubt it is a best of everything build with plenty of cash thrown at it but claimed figures are simply not possible. Dyno can be manipulated and have to keep in mind it is fundamentally a diagnostic tool not a measuring tool.
I noticed it dosent say anywhere that this was VG power. Does anyone know if there was a conversion maybe? Ben
