hi :( i have coolant comin from the rear passanger side of the engine.
it seems to be comin from a pipe that comes from the intercooler piping.
just wondering wat the pipe or hoses is and would it be attackable without doin another plenum pull?

    thanx

    Unfortunately, this is very common

and yes, you can always contort yourself and replace a single hose (some of them) but if one is gone, it will be a matter of weeks/months before others go and you don't always get a warning. A single split under plenum hose can cost you a whole engine.

There are over a dozen under the plenum and in/out of turbos- bypass em with 3 metres of 8mm internal ID heater hose (get high PSI stock if available).

Do it properly, pull the plenum and you will most likely be shocked as the condition of all the hoses. ~ 20 years in a hot environment (especially with turbos) destroys water hoses...

then it shouldnt need another plenum pull, especially if at the back of the motor. have a chat to the guy who did the plenum pull. should be an easy fix

sounds like one of the turbo water lines, may have a loose clamp or hose has split. should be fixable with the plenum on

Sounds like the turbo water cool line, best to get new steel line made up and fit new hose also, the old steel line would have corrosion build up and could possibly have a split in it, I found this on mine so i changed both sides.

Took the pipes into Enzed, they made up new pipes and supplied the H/duty hose and clamps, I think it was around $50 all up, it was 12mth ago.

I would say it is the turbo hoses, Mine has the same problem. The steel tubing from the turbos has probably rusted away also, were the hose fits onto them. Have a look on ebay, There is a guy over in Japan that has a complete turbo water hose kits for the 300z. The kits he is selling are braided hoses with banjo fittings on one end and hose tails on the other. I think this is the link, even thou it has expired it has been relisted. Copy and paste the whole of this link in to your search tool bar. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Turbo-Water-...ZAU_Car_Parts_Accessories?hash=item3efa822e33

    good luck
