ACT Parting out - 1992 TT Black 2+0 Leather

Hi guys,

I've decided to part out my Z instead of the arduous task of rebuilding.
Why am I parting it out? Engine is tired and could do with a rebuild - this is the reason.

Body is very straight except for scrape under drivers door (on the sill). Does not affect door open/close and have been quoted 800 to fix. Can't notice unless you look for it (car is black). No other dents etc... apart from usual front bar scrapes. Steering and brakes are direct and feel great.

1992 Twin Turbo Targa Top
Black, brazilian with 2000 spec front bar and lights
Leather interior
Driver and Passenger electric seats (passenger is stuck forward, new motor needed)
200,000km
No leaks from targa tops and all clips etc.. in place.

-LT8 ECU running fuel/spark. Spliced into factory EFI loom. Includes USB adaptor to allow tuning/monitoring by way of laptop and realtime datalogging (software is free download)

but dude, to be honest. get a truck take it home. and buy a cheap zed with a good engine.

swap as much of the gear over as you can. Buy an auto TT one and convert to man. if you want.

you have enough parts there to buy a crap one and turn it onto an awsome one.

I'm prepared to take sensible offers on the car as-is, in one piece with ALL extra parts/mods guys.

Engine is only missing cam and crank seals, otherwise it can be turned over for compression test etc..

C'mon guys & gals, someone please make a sensible offer for this car(so that Sean doesn't need to part it out).
It was the previous owners dying wish, that this car go to someone on this forum. Someone who would get as much enjoyment(and take as much care of it as he did).
It is personally very disappointing to see this car being broken up for parts, when it has so much potential.
A month ago I took airstyle for a test drive in it and it was a tyre-shredding beast with way more performance than a stock TT.

If I had some spare cash, I would snap it up.:zlove:

 

I feel you CHILI,

When I first got it the car would spin through 1st easy and most of second too. I'd like to keep it/rebuild but I can't.

The car can be sold running with the engine as is, and it will be drivable but bear in mind it will need some attention in the next 30,000km at least.

Throw your offers at me, I'm already standing to make quite a large loss on the car and the hassle of parting it out can be negated by selling it outright as is.
