Ha ha. Probably no need for everyone to start breaking out the baseball bats and molotov cocktails just yet. These guys sound like a bunch of kids out being idiot kids. Actually kind of reminds me of my school days with all the skinny pimply wanna be bad boys smoking behind the school and doing "bad" things like egging cars. Egg wipes off and these guys are now on the local police radar, so will probably be in for a few "Random" breatho and vehicle defect stops over the next year or two. I reckon he handled it appropriately. The last thing he wants is to be brought down to their level and tagged by the local rozzers as a trouble maker. It would only be damaging to getting assistance in the future.

Just digging this thread up to say that MY ZED JUST GOT F*CKING EGGED!! I was down at the beach with a girl, just sitting in the car talking. 2 cars come into the car park and bombard my car with eggs (not a single egg was thrown at other cars parked there) and drive off. My car wasn't running so I didn't bother to follow them. A few minutes later I headed towards the nearest car wash. Stopped at the lights were those same 2 cars. I was pretty angry at the time and decided to follow them. I just wanted to have a word with them and get an apology. They realised I was following and split up so I followed this blue ute which took a backstreet. Obviously I had no trouble keeping up in a TT. They had no chance of getting away. After 20 minutes of this wild goose chase I decided that I was being stupid and gave up. There is no real point to this post. I'm just ranting because someone egged my baby Anyway, look out for a blue 1997 Hilux with the plates "OQI 032". Has a southern cross sticker on the back and red P plates. I'm serious... I would have said something like: "Look man, I know you're just having a bit of fun and all that. We've all gone egging in our time, but you've damaged my pride and joy and I'm not happy about it. I've got your plates but I'm not going to take this any further if you apologise right now and nothing more happens to my car." I think that's a reasonable way of dealing with it. Unfortunately the coward wouldn't pull over..
idiot... call the police now and report it. they'll just do it again, how would they have known you only wanted an apology.
That just adds wood to the fire. I prefer to befriend people and be reasonable with them. Then they're more likely to stop. If I report them then they'll do something else to get back at me. As it is now, I've washed the zed and there's only a small paint chip. Hopefully it stays at that and they don't strike again. If they do, shit will fit the fan

Oh, I was quite irate at the time. I've calmed down now. I couldn't care less about the chips (car is getting resprayed eventually) but the fact that they have disrespected my property is not on.
