OK.. the backstory... Last few nights a car, green/blue has bene coming past with its lights off, stopping out the front of my house, throwing eggs at the house or my Z/Z's. 4 nights in a row. first night dad went outside and they sped of. Dad found a sharpened blade, a broken stick and a lid from a spray can near my Z. 2nd night, happened again, dad and i ran out and got in the car and tried to follow them but they were already around the corner by the time i got the Z started.. 3rd night...(WEDNESDAY) i moved the Z up behind the trees on the lawn and my black one back in the garage where it normally lives. they drove past i went out and they threw eggs at me (missing). Dad and i went to the police to put in a report, like usual they did nothing or couldnt do anything other then take a report down. But they did inform us that a car matching the description is wanted in conjuncture with 2 car thefts and vandalism from the last 4 months but they had no rego. 4th night.. this is where i said screw this! I sat out in the car, lights off, engine off, radio lightly playing born to be wild. I went inside to get a drink, and typical they came around when i was inside. I went outside, one of them was about to get out of the car but then they sped off again. i calmly got in the z and went for a drive. Saw headlights down a dead end and waited. a car came towards me then sped past me and i knew it was them. stock magna, P plates, XPR288 rego blue/green in colour. (what i did now was a bit stupid i admit, risky too being in the wet. but i wanted to put a end to this as my mum is not well health wise and she was beginning to get very scared and now locks EVERY door at 6pm) I did a reverse J turn .. and took off after them. sliding out once almost into a gutter.. but then taking the following 2 corners very nicely..powering down the straight and sliding around a corner i reeled them in and sat on there ass, high beamed them. took the rego plate down. They went left, trying to dodge me. i went straight.. to the cop shop.. gave them the rego.. got a call about 20 mins ago saying they picked the car up now and have them in holding over night for interrogation and for other witnesses to come and see if it was the car they saw. Final score, Magna Hoon=0 ZX =1 I got a nice thankyou, a adrenaline rush from a bit of a chase And, there is a moral to be learnt from this boys and girls... one which we all know but others should learn.. hahaha... good job. if it were me, i would have waited a few houses down with a brick... then when they fly past they can have the brick through there windscreen! i hate it when people try to stuff around with my family and especially my house. good job though... let us know what happens to the pricks!
mateee they got it lucky.. if it was me.. i would of followed them home and smashed the crap out of their car.. then break their window.. thats 1 claim... 1 week later break all the windows again.. another claim thats 2 claims... must i go on? - in long term their prem. goes up for the next 5 years.. WOOO!!!!

As said good on ya! A word of warning to others though: Do not do what I did and chase the fools down the road, catch up, then remove the keys from their ignition for them - strangely enough they will get all pissy and want a fight LOL! (that's no problem IF you can take them all on at once) It does stop them running away though & if you can get someone to call the cops while you have the keys .... well that just ruins their day for them good and proper
Five guys in a ute, four of them were drinking, three of them wanted a fight. Fortunately only two of them tried it on trying to get the keys back - they couldn't so they gave up. Lucky for me cause I don't think I could have taken three of them on and won! They did threaten to jump on the Zed but when they saw how I reacted to that they must have realised EXTREMELY BAD IDEA!!! I called the cops but they took a long time - in the end the guy drove his own ute down to the cop shop around the corner. He knew he was going to have to talk with them no mater how it went down LOL!
Magna v Zed... Reminds me when some punk kids took to tearing up our lawn on their pee-wee 50/80's for no reason other than boredom. Happened over a period of a few days, the Old Man eventually took offence and chased them up the street on his ZX-12R, they shat themselves all the way home. Too bad their Dad was just as big a bogan and refused to reprimand them, he actually came to our house with his chest puffed out the following day claiming that he'd beat us up, he was a bikie, this, that and the other. Funnily enough he refused Old Man's offer to settle it like men and we never saw those kids again. Glad you showed some restraint and that justice will be served by the proper authorities. Adam.

Ok, I'm glad it had a good outcome... But i gota ask.... how come it took 4 nights for you to give chase? lol you shoulda been ready on the 2nd!! Depending on what damage they have done - if anyone will come forward, they will prob get a slap on the wrist.... but all in all - good run and spose good fun you had finally getting them.... :bow2: to the Z :zlove:

hmm well it wasnt, they came past this morning ... a full car load. 5 of them all wearign hoods and stopped in daylight out the front and honked a few times then sped off.. i didnt bother chasing them. instead i rang the police again, and went to put fuel in the Z meanwhile examining the tire marks i left in persuit of them haha. anyway im driving home from the servo, pull up at a red light and look in my rear view mirror.... ITS THEM!... i drove a bit and took a few dog leg turns and they followed me. I rang my EX who i knew was down town, and drove towards her and slowed down going past her and she then told me the names of some of them. I rang dad, told him to get the police to send a car out and pull the magna behind me over. me driving around aimlessly using precious fuel with them following me. They were messaging a friend of my ex's saying "were chasing andrew and he cant get away from us its pathetic and funny".. but i wasnt trying to get away or i could have, i was setting up a trap because i was counting on the fact they would follow me around. Anyway. 15 minutes passed then a unmarked highway patrol vehicle turned in behind us and 2 paddy wagons came from infront of me. the unmarked car pulled them over and a wagon boxed them in. the other wagon pulled me over. Dad turned up. They had a talk to me. Went and talked to all of them. The best part was it was in the main st so everyone saw them getting talked to and me having a laugh with the cops .
Now thats a better ending to the story... lol well done. Hopefully something will happen to them.....:thumbup:
