Our motto is to get quotes elsewhere and check in with us either through our dealer network or direct for the most competitive prices. If we can't beat them (very rare) we can at least match them and throw some extra incentives in depending on the order and repeat clientele :)

    Regards,

    Vuk@AMS

Z1 beating Coz's OEM pricing is news to me - last I checked they didn't beat it. I realise there are other places to get OEM gear, but as I said, I couldn't find anyone to beat Coz, including Courtesy Parts. As far as AMS dealing in OEM parts, I wasn't even aware until just now.

End of the day, this is nothing to cry about, AMS, COZ and Z1 are all competitors and they are all competing for your slice of the pie. If AMS are as customer oriented as they claim to be, they have nothing to worry about anyway.

gotta love this forum:rolleyes:,people think cazracing, uas and concept are the only vendors of zed parts ,shop around guys, you can get much better prices than them nearly everytime,

Vuk (AMS) is the man ,he replies to emails in a speedy fashion, friendly advice and great prices ,knowledge about the z32 as he is an enthusiast as well as builds them and a great reputation as well, what more do you want ????,if he cant supply the parts, then go to Z1 or concept

Im starting a huge motor build on the t/t and AMS is the only one supplying my parts :)

WAKE UP AND SMELL THE ROSES

Hey were all good guys ... to someone ... but you telling me "hes a good guy" is like me saying "hey I'm a nice guy" .... why do you need to say it ... sounds like your over rating him to get some sort of benefit ... are you his pimp ? :p

We are a user group spending a shit load of cash, we deserve benefit from that, the best pricing, service and quality available.

No secret commissions and or over zealous support for any particular supplier.

Doing so will damage other forum members chance of getting the best pricing, service and quality available.

An excellent recent example involved a current GB where another member sent me a PM going WTF is with these prices I just got this $abc, now someone has set up an arrangement to get personal benefit at the expense of other members, if other members endeavour to negotiate pricing they will be pointed to the GB pricing buy the supplier, a classic cock block.

Just want to correct this a bit.

    EDIT:

An excellent recent example involved a current GB where another member posted pricing he had that was better then the GB, post deleted, I got a PM saying that he was told not to post it by the supplier, now someone has set up an arrangement to get personal benefit at the expense of other members, if other members endeavour to negotiate pricing they will be pointed to the direction of GB pricing buy the supplier, a classic cock block.

If we are going to forsake our own group for a few dollars at the direction of suppliers we may as well change the forum name to aus300zxcashedupdumbfuxswhotakeitinthearsefromsuppliers.com

except for when he copies parts (doesn't matter) and tries to pass them off as the original manufacturer's parts (matters a lot). that's hardly bright in my eyes, it's illegal.

I completely agree, is it bright ... is it illegal ... at the end of the day he made money, from a business prospective that's bright, but a good insight to the man for sure. He put immediate personal benefit in front of 300 degree, in front of the customer and in front of the long term reputation of his business, possibly in front of customer safety, he obviously didn't count on getting caught, that was dumb.

Its more that he passed them off as someone else's rather then his own, he was prepared to use someones Else's property (the 300degree name) to make a profit, that's theft and fraud in my eyes. But some people dont seem to care, all i can do is ask why not ?

    Toilet humour

As it flushes away, will it swirl clockwise or anti-clockwise ?
It's hard to predict the coriolis effect as both hemispheres are involved in the flushing. :D

Out of curiosity I pasted the above address into my browser. I got this -

Your search - aus300zxcashedupdumbfuxswhotakeitinthearsefromsuppliers.com - did not match any documents.

    Suggestions:
    • Make sure all words are spelled correctly.
    • Try different keywords.
    • Try more general keywords.
Maybe it was the " fux " part that the search engines didn't like ? :D

    On a positive note.

Not only can we buy parts readily for our 20 year old grey import cars, the vendors are competing with each other for our business.

6 months ago at the start of my first time Zed ownership I had no idea where to start looking for parts. Local Nissan dealer ? HAH !!

Now, when I need parts my main problem is deciding WHO to buy them from.
    I'm pretty happy. :)
With anything I buy I take the marketing with a grain of salt.

I hope you're not implying that Corio is a toilet Baz.

Anyway, I've met some lovely toilets in Corio.
    Can't wait to go again.
