I have just been outside tinkering with the race car. I never paid much attention to how the existing 2 seater fuel system was connected at the tank end before. I also had misgivings about 1 TT fuel pump being able to keep up with stoking the Swirl pot that is going in the boot. Forcing the fuel forward is a big single Aeromotive pump so there was never going to be a supply issue. But I was concerned that the fuel was going to be heated in the swirl pot by the sheer volume that is going to be circulated by the big Aeromotive pump. I needed a large proportion to be rotated back into the main fuel tank so it had time to be cooled down. The reason I used the 2 seater main tank and not a fuel cell is it is ahead of the rear axel which is in a much better spot than a fuel cell mounted in the boot. So I pulled the pump and the other inspection hatch out of the tank. Turns out the second hatch ( drivers side) actually does have a pick up line as well as a second fuel tank sender. never knew that To cut a long story short. Turns out the stock 2 seater pump assembly does actually fit into the scondary hole without modding it. So if you want a 2 pump 2 seater install. Find another 2 seater TT pump assembly. Fit into the secondary tank hole and you have an easy 2 pump set up to feed both ends of a dual feed system on a modified fuel rail.
