Sorry chilli i didnt read your second reply about checking the oil NOW. I need to change the oil filter too, so ill drop everything and check what is going on... Thanks everyone for your input. Huh, i really highly doubt it that Amanda would appreciate that. Considering the insurance companies want to rape us for full comp insurance for just a auto na. Let alone a TT. Not like i have ever had an accident or claimed anything. But if that was an option VQ45>TT. Chrispy is my hero atm.
We have the zeds with the RAA (or RCQ, i think in VIC). However the problem is we are both under 25... hence why our insurance is nuts! For an NA auto under both names, me being 20 and Chris 22, we were quoted $3300 full comp. Just not worth it really... Cheers, Amanda

j-spec na or aus-spec? that really is a rip-off insurance wise, hows your driving records? does one of you have suspension/convictions/thirty million speeding fines or anything like that?
Its a J-Spec NA. And driving records are pretty much clean. Just a speeding fine for myself (which is pretty amazing, i think Chris would agree lol) and one or two speeding fines for Chris.
I had a very similar experience when my Zed bit the dust. Was driving for a very short amount of time, the top hose split like a sausage pretty much exactly like yours, pulled over asap and...well... not pretty. Water in the oil, oil in the water, heads bent like bananas... coupled with a very dirty engine bay, rapidly decreasing bank balance and rising temper. If i were a betting man, I would put at least $100 that its a head gasket... Apparently mine stemmed from a build up of sediment in the radiator, which blocked the lower pipe (!) causing engine temp to rise, pressure to build and explosions. The amount of quick-fix crap you had in yours may have blocked some pipe and had a similar effect. Good luck with it!
Mate that definitely 100% oil in the coolant. Most prob head gasket. The Head gasket went in my work car a while back and thats exactly what it looks like and my car didnt have any coolant in the oil either. Also no chemiweld will work when oil is in the cooling system. Looks like you'll need to get that fixed or get a new engine! not cheap
Oah! Fark! I have my 720 with just cars, and originally i got a quote from just cars for the NA, auto, j spec Zed and they wern't any cheaper. Ive had a speeding fine or two about 2 years ago now, and no other priors. No crash's or outstandings. I purely think its an age thing. And yes lovic im only 22 and Amanda 20. Hopefully its not a head issue, cause im really going to get the bricks into this ......... of a car. So frustrating that it was sweet for the 2 odd months apon purchase... now all this... what i pita. Thats all i can say. Sexy paint job but a butt load of headaches.
Whats the going rate for a NA engine these days, saw one on the forum for a whole lot of not much. Really CBF doing an engine swap but it may be what will save my sanity. I see Amanda telling me to sell it shortly!
Tried Shannons? I was 18 when I first bought mine...went with RACV half through my parents for the first year..but after that I have only had me as the single driver, and it's an NA auto JSpec..Never had any infringements though..think Shannons don't like that.. But it's worth a call, if its cheaper you can refund your current policy and save some money to help fix the zed?

ur Z just threw up what were u feeding her. that doesn't look no where close to the green. lol anyways good luck fixing her mate.. Lesson-- if u see something wrong with Z fix it straight away or she will bite big time.
