just got ecu talk installed the disc there are no icons to get into it or does it just open when i plug it in? can someone please help i so wanna play with it lol
what is the problem exactly, you installed the program into your PC and cant find it? look in c:\program files\ecutalk i do recommend nissan datascan, conzult or scantech nissan
also at idle i read .44v on the tps i hit the accelerator and when i let go it goes back to .40 or inbetween
there are maybe 3 or 4 here, but support for them is non existant, everything has to be imported at very high prices
yeah normal range is around 0.45 to around 4v as for the disk you got, it should autorun, if not go into my computer then cd drive, open it up and open the ecutalk.html and read the instructions there (but sounds like you've got something going). in the case of ecutalk software, you just copy the ecutalk exe file somewhere (e.g. desktop) and run it - no install needed (just .net framework if you dont have it).
thanx thanks guys for the help i know alot of questions but this is the first time i have played with this sort of thing. has anyone got the full version of conzult as the one i have is very limited alot of the featurs like solenoid testing and stuff wont work
yes blazt.biz sell it for a couple hundred (and i sure hope you werent asking for anyone to help you pirate it...) - but you want to try out obd scantech though, its the most complete free version software available - its on the ecutalk disk. it has most of the active tests and all those kinds of stuff. if ur com port is higher than COM4 or whatever the highest port you can use in obd scantech is - you might need to change it (properties/advanced etc on the com port in device manager)
a TPS set at around .42 - .44 volts will actually delay the kick down when in cruise control mode. Originally with mine set at .46 v it would kick down on the slightest undulation in the road where as now it holds a little longer before it drops a gear and accelerates, this make driving in in cruise mode a lot more comfortable.
