QLD Gympie Sleepover October 3rd-4th

It's at the paint shop.

 

Mate of mine wants to come, but he might not as Coke decided to be pains in the arse and want him @ 4am on Saturday to help test some shit.

 

Pex, for those of us who don't like turning up empty handed, what could we bring to help you out, as the turnout is much larger than last year.........

 

All food is taken care of (most already purchased). All I am left with is the fresh veggies for obvious reasons

I'll be asking members for help shortly regarding some engine bay stuff I want to swap between cars, so this is my yearly financial / social contribution to the masses.
I am hoping some key members will be willing to spend a day at my place shortly with this project.

For BBQ tea there will be basic salad, HaylZ pasta salad I believe, my potato salad, 5KG of Sausages, steakettes, chicken fillets, rissoles, and little boys (cheerios) for Mike. 36 dinner rolls and 2 loaves of white bread.

Bacon and egg muffins for Breakkie Sunday morning. I have 3 dozen eggs, 36 muffins, 2 kilos of bacon and 2 jars of cheese spread.

I doubt we'll go hungry.

If you have special dietary needs either let me know, or bring your own (ie. those who need gluten free etc)

 

Mrz Magic has to bring muffins. I have been hearing about these things for soooo long by everyone.. :biggrin::biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

 

that sounds amazing...........thank you so much for going to all the effort - i know it takes time and a lot of $$$. I think those who can though, should throw a few dollars in to help cover your costs ......... even if only for the cost of this brekky muffins we are all hearing about (no pressure Cara)

 

I'm stuck working but I'll be at the next cruise for sure.

trying to convince hubby that he needs a weekend off, the poor bugger has been working non-stop and deserves a break, but still cant convince him to go.....may need some assistance, cause if i keep asking him to take the time off, he might get the wrong idea and think i want him out of the house for some sinister reason:biggrin:

slowly but surely i am getting to know the zed community, and seem like a gr8 bunch of ppls, look forward to meeting e1 else once hubby has the workshop up and running

that was the night i was asking him as well, the only excuse he can come up with is that "its all the way up there" ......nevermind the fact that he has driven further for work, but i will see wot i can come up with, i just dont want him burning himself out working all these hours and not getting enough time off to relax for a change.

 

Thats my excuse...it's 14hrs away!!

• UHF Radios
• camp chair
• bedding
• tents, poles, pegs, basic tools for camping for those sleeping outside.
• torch
• warm clothes for the night air (forecast 16 degs, but some people feel the cold)
• A roll of toilet paper in case you get caught short
• coffee mug in case you feel like a hot drink.

 

I will be on the road from 3am, so feel free to call and keep me entertained on the way

How much non-tent coverage is there? I don't own a tent...well i do, but I have no idea where it is. Maybe I'll just sleep under the stars...next to the vehicle. She'll appreciate the attention after the haul she's about to do.
