Hey guys did a search got nothing... well i was in the wet and the usual.. i braked etc but the light only just came on afterwards, or maybe i noticed late. turned the engine off and on. still it was on.. the abs is buzzing and i thought id check if it was hot - and that it was. the abs light is on too now... its got me worried... cars off and still buzzing :| whats going on? thanks guys
well... the abs light is on... went to the back popped the boot open and touched the abs it felt like it was vibrating and was warm.... and it did sound like it was buzzing?
pulled the fuse out... no change... still buzzing and abs light still on... im sure it is the abs light i have an aus spec its in english... its a 20 fuse yes? took it out and yepp or are there 2? arent the abs ones usually the big fuses? thanks guys... my cars still outside doing that buzzing... its annoying the shit out of me...
If in doubt, check you haven't pulled the wrong fuse lol. The fuses sit at different levels so in the dark you may be skipping a column of fuses.
okay buzzing is gone... took out the right fuse... checked and all... now.. the only thing bugging me.. the abs light is on... lol and im too scared to check if the abs is working or not haha but why the hell was it buzzing?
Your abs actuator has a problem, I had the same issue and pulled my fuse too - 1 year later and no problems. Not the best driving around with no abs, but you will stop quicker! Just don't slam on the brakes until you know it's new limits :thumbup:
so whats the damage lols? new actuator? how much am i looking at? i think it was sorta my fault lols.. hanbraking in the wet and sorta being a hoon lol
